Even if i did a build and blew my car up.. i would still come out ahead of buying a new Car lolz
I have yes. But there are a couple issues with that. 1 is I want more than 1 tune. I want a DD, race gas and spring/fall tune. And to drive somewhere and probably get dyno tuned would be pretty expensive. If I was to do that I would probably do like what John Powell suggested also and fly someone like Area47 in to do it locally.
That would be more money than the ZFR/Clutch/17"rims combined. Tires and brakes alone would be a constant cost. Plus its so damn hard on the car. Also you would still want to buy 17"rims and Nittos for autox (if you were going to buy all the powell stuff anyway)

And no. A powell rear bar, yyz springs is all you really need to improve the suspension on your vehicle. A ZFR is what 3000 dollars on zzp's site? plus 600-800 for a clutch? just ball parking some numbers here.
So was i.

Have you considered spending many hours on the hptuner forums and trying it yourself?
If your gonna want multiple tunes for different times and situations I would think that is your best option, since you will always be logging.

ZFR=1800$ KY Clutch S3= 700 with flywheel= And install Courtesy of DDP. You AUTO X like one time and your tires looked like this /--1 1--\
All this being theoretical as truthfully all i will likely do is an HPT and call it a day.

That's the plan in the end. And I have been researching a ton. But for example look at Kennyspec. The guy is crazy smart, has been using hpt for quite a few years and does a decient job of it. I get tuned by James and my car was like night and day. I'd like to kinda learn the secrets and small things that really matter as someone tunes me.
You do not get that from Auto crossing. You get that from Solo Sprint.

Its not oblivion if you don't do the following
- Lug on your car (that's apparently driving it like a grandmother day to day)
- Use horrible gas (94 octane, Science says its bad gas)
- Drive it when the weather suddenly drops from 12 C to 10 C
- Use magic puddling meth
So as long as you don't do any of the above you should be good to go man!!!
on a second lighter note. I want. FS: (For Sale) CT: 2000 2.5 RS, Manual, 2Door, Silver, Original Owner - NASIOC

- Use horrible gas (94 octane, Science says its bad gas) How does octane content determine bad from good gas?
I've been catching your slights towards the 94 oct and I;m wondering what secrets you are keeping.

I don't see anything wrong with canadian 94 asides the fact that they add 10% eth to boost the octane rating.
