My car is fricken cursed during the winter!! Last year I got t-boned and my car almost got written off, and now yesterday I got rear ended! Damn such a pain in the ass!

Awe no! That sucks man! How bad is it? My car is cursed in the winter with constant intake coolant leaks haha. Between my dual pass, extra heat exchanger and option b I have hoses running everywhere. The system hates the cold.

I was ran off the road by a few of Northends finest a few years ago(was a CRAZY situation to say the least). I ended up ******* up 3 rims, broken axle, oil pan etc.. MPI allotted $3400 to fix the rims, I didnt want rims anymore so I settled on $3500 for them (they sent me a cheque for $3500 for rims ). Was the ONLY time I had a good experience with MPI, they screwed me when I wrote off my SC.

 

The rim deal is pretty sweet. You could replace your stockers (on ss.net and get aftermarekts with new rubber for that)

 

It worked out well for me(after the fact).. I ended up buying another set of stock rims with good rubber, winter steelies w/tires, and a set of aftermarket rims w/KDW's.

speaking of KDW's they still for sale? and were you selling rims as well before?

 

The KDW's are 'for sale' as im heading to the states in 2 weeks to pick up a new set, I did tell Bluelightning he could have first dibs on them though. I was planning on selling the rims but since I bought a TC I decided to keep them (luckily they fit with a 3mm spacer).
