Alright, ive been off the boards for a couple months because ive been at school and busy with a ton of ****...either way...i have been starting up the ideas for this years big cobalt meet....hoping to make it quite a bit larger than last years Kingston Meet....there are a couple of options i thought i could put to you...(EDIT: Ottawa has been chosen for location)

Currently in talks with sponsors (GM dealers) for a good show so hopefully ss.net members will turn out

Note that i am looking for suggestions as i realize most of the ss.net members here are from Toronto,

already gettin off track? lol things havent changed....anyway....the thing is if u come to kemptville there is a car show on a large field we can all just kinda take over the sport compact section and make the imports look stupid...lol..but yeah its forsure in the summer as i said late august

Oh yeah? I was asked by, not sure who, to make last years event OCC KINGSTON 06....so i thought id keep the same name to prevent confusion....id love to be a member of 403 and dundas...but i also enjoy breathing clean air during the summer...hehe..lol...Good ol T.O.

 

Have also been considering the option of convoying into the States...perhaps as far south as NC for a weekend and see how interesting that might be...

What would really be nice if ppl from other than just 403 and Dundas show up...as well as the couple MTL lads who did and myself of course...lol...im putting totgether the potential plans with other ppl to have a pretty big event....get a field...advertize for predominantly cobalts but also other GM vehicles..such as the G5,G6,HHR,Solstice(etc, reccent GM vehicles, sry no cavaliers..lol jkin) and see what we can get together....ive got a relatively large dealer in Ottawa whos interested and other companies who may want to join on...im thinking of trying to get alot of Americans to come up and cross the border....draft plans so far include competiton for 4 categories (if youd like to enter) (Exterior, Interior, audio/visual and performance)...since i know alot of ppl will only come out to events if they can win a trophy..lol..This would be taking place 45 minutes south of Ottawa....20minutes from the border with the United States....let me know what you guys think...any funds that are raised are going to go towards an NGO that im apart of that promotes sustainable development

Fast response man? lol...yeah i didnt want to really say anything until i had got plans underway....but now that i have i want to start promoting...it would be good to have a good event....GM based only but not solely on the balt or G5.....i think im gonna post a thread later in the General Section...there will be ample places for people to stay and there are bars and what not and Ottawa is a quick drive away...
