Last time we went to track they closed it after someone died so we didnt get to run. Im guessing some of us will be in the 12's.

i'm not saying that 13's are slow, per se... but, when someone makes a comment like "I have to show the cars that think they're fast what a real fast car is" and they're running 13's, sorry dude, but in the grand scheme of things 13's are not fast.

i dunno my buddy ran a 13.5 stage 1, 2.7, intake, exhaust, and drags, id call that quick at least and compared to a 16-17 second car, that is fast....
red-ss hit a 14.5 bone stock and compared to a stock base, there difference is there...
and this is why i keep reading people wanna trade in the 2.2 for atleast a 2.4 or even a 2.0, i hada 2.2 ohv in my cavy, now that is slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww lol

yea man, i'm with ya... i'm not talking about comparing to other cars though, just in general... i would love to have my car in the 14's, or even in the 13's on day... probably won't happen, but it's a goal to work towards... unfortunatley "fast" in a relative term, it's not a set thing... so different people consider different things fast... 13.5 in a cobalt is respectable though

oh wow...this thing has kinda gotten a lil over the top...all this was meant to be was a joke and simple fun...just to see how "quick" the car could keep up with a stock SS...simple comparsion...not meant to cause fights and flaming....but ok for those of u who like that sort of thing....good luck with that

ya, the word fast is used loosely these days, but i think my buds car is prty quick, as do i think mine is, we all went to the track a few weeks back but someone crashed and died therefore the track was shut down whcih is tottally understandable, ive never ran this on the track and i know its a lil different from the streets but if i ever see a 12.9999999999999999999999, lol, ill be happy, ill even be happy with a mid 13 time, gonna need some drags and maybe axles for all this though haha,
i say mod what you got and be happy you have 4 wheels instead of a week of bus tickets

The Hunter has raced many faster cars and they still lose, he's just that respected in the GTA (greater toronto area for all my friends).

Anyways he's better off using his time for important things like time travel and shape shifting.

best quote of the whole thread!! 12.9 would be a kick ass time, mid 13's are great too... my car will probably never see 13's, but i'd be happy with low 14's... that would be a 2 second drop...
