Very sad day :(
I don't come on here often but I thought that I would share this. I completely destroyed my 09 TC coupe on the schitty roads in Ottawa today. That car meant a lot to me. Now I need to find another one to buy. Will the insurance company let me take all of my performance parts off?
Damn that really sucks. You're posting here, so hopefully you're alright. Any pics of the damage?
You might be able to snag parts off it quick, or buy it back for cheap once they write it off.

Sad to hear that. Car is replaceable though. If you don't have your car insured for mods, then you can take them off IF you put the factory ones back on. If it is insured, then don't touch your mods, unless you want trouble .
Pull your mods off and replace with the factory components. Anything missing the insurance company can deduct value for. Most people don't have optional equipment coverage on their policy and we don't give dollar for dollar on mods anyway. Much better off swapping it for your own parts. You probably don't even need to reinstall the parts, just toss em in the trunk. My two cents as an adjuster.
Well they gave me $11800 for my 09 with 147 000km on her. And they are letting me keep all of my bolt ons. And they are paying me full value for my DXD clutch and Aluminium flywheel! Thats an extra $1500 on top of the $11800. So I went car shopping today. Bought a 2010 SS coupe. Red. 50300km for 12 grand. Stock except for GMS1 and HID headlights. Its absolutely mint. Has the RPD aswell. Already emailed trifecta for a quote!! I think I made out ok all in all.
I'm not ganna lie, if I got my car to the point I couldn't salvage her, I'd let it go and go back to a V8 in a Camaro. my $.02. But I have never stayed with the same vehicle twice, to include motorcycles, except the ZX-10R.
