2008 ALBERTA Top 1/4 Mile Times

Well since it is almost time for the tracks to be open, I figured I would start the 2008 version of the Alberta Top 1/4 Mile Times thread.

Post your times, and hopefully along with a time slip....and I will update the lists daily. Also with your post, PLEASE post what type of engine is in your car so I can put the times in the proper list! Thanks!

S/C Ecotec Top 1/4 Mile Times:

You left out all the Saturn's and Pontiac's with those engines...

I guess the only list I can get on is the "Honorable Mention" now.

Just remember, it might take some practice. Even just a change between days can affect your times by half a second. Having a quick 330' time is the key to getting those 2.0L SC cars to run a quick quarter mile!

I'm still an LSJ boy. This whole conversion is turning into a major pain in the ass! Little things are killing me. Like IDCs, when they shouldn't be.

Maybe you shoud include a "Misfit" category! j/k

Or possibly even just a "2.0L SC/Turbo", "2.4", "2.2" and "Honorable Mention". Whatever you think is best.

I think firestorm is gonna have some surprising times this year...

hehehe

oh btw, I didnt do anything new to the truck other than stacks... and I am returning it back to stock... its too much of a heat score for the DOTs now with the new commercial pickup laws on how i have to go through scales and run a logbook....
