the new cobalt ss tc is out and at dealers, one southside dealer has two black ones which have deposits on them already, and they just rolled of a transport truck last night. sweet ride though $28000 260 hp 260tq, the brembo brake package looks sweet, new wheels look good but other than that cosmetically the car is identical, the interior isnt all that different, i think the new suede inserted seats are the only thing different on the inside, i think, still no proper guages though. and it seems its going to be a waiting list from what the sales man said, any new colors out?

ya we just got our second one at my work today. its red. we've had a yellow media one for a few weeks now that the pdi manager has been demoing for about a week or so.

 

They havent made to alot of areas of the US either yet . 6 large chevy dealers on my area and not a TC to be found anywhere .

 

yah i think they r going to be just as hard to find as the 07s were towards the end of the year, they are priced lower than an older one when they were new, mabey the one i saw diddnt have as many options. i hope they came out w a new color like charcoal mettalic grey i think that would look sweet

 

I Live in the Metrolpolitan Detroit area, so that may explain why I may have seen a few already... But I was just at Discount Tire this last weekend and I met a guy that had his 08 SS/TC there (stacticspider on here btw), he just got it, and he said he had a hell of a time trying to get one... I don't know the exact production figures but they only made the 08 SS's by the high hundreds if not low thousands, so you won't be seeing to many...

 

another gm brainstorm, they let the car cool down so much that all the ground they make is lost by the time a car gets popular (not that the cobalt isnt popular). theyre still riding the malibu wave, and a company with so much economic turmoil should market there cars better. no advertisement barely on this car, just word of mouth and many of them are sold b4 they roll off the truck, im not saying flood the market but cmon, if chevy doesnt step there game up buisness wise theyre in for trouble. corvettes, new camaros, impalas, monte carlos, malibus the names pretty much sell it for themselves. a little harder for the cobalt some more advertisement would be nice

 

Anyone know if they have any in Regina? I wanna test drive one!
