Hey there guys, I'm new to the site here. It was me in the yellow 05 ss/sc at the track last friday. Don't know if I can or how to post a pic of the slip but my best time of the night was as follows (bone stock):
R/T .556
60' 2.332
1/4 14.742
MPH 99.32

I hope to get out again soon that was a lot of fun. Nice to meet a some other cobalt owners as well.

that really is quite a stellar time for a stock ss/sc.
even some room for improvement on the launch too.
well done sir.

and a driver mod.

I can't stress enough how much experiance counts for at the track. I see soooo many guys come out hoping for xxx.xxx time and they're all about half a second slower or worse.

a 600? you have a slipper clutch in that-- id say around a 10k launch and feather the clutch partial millimeteres out. try and keep the front wheel somewhere between 2-4 inches off the ground.
you can drive it out of the hole, then go wot........but it will be bogzilla.
have you run it down the track yet? are you sub 11 seconds? if so, you need a teathered kill switch. wanna hook up one friday night and get in 5 solid passes on the bikes?

that would be great. I been looking at different parts for the bike but for now its completely stock (except for frame/spoil arm sliders) Where can i get a teathered kill switch? I wanna go this upcoming friday but i dont think my back tire will hold up since i did the 2 burnouts at the meet. I orderd a Pirelli Diablo Rosso tire for $250 but it will take about a week to get here. And no i havent been down the track yet with it. First time...so i have no idea what the bike can do for ET. I'm guessing for my first time ill hit low 13's - high 12's?

Full interior, full tank of gas
Front tire pressures@27psi

Hopefully it's readable. I'm car #12
