calgary intakes

hey quick question for all the balts with a CAI, how are they with the weather how it is, i dont have a hydroshild yet but im wondering if anyone is driving with this rain with an intake, any problems?

fair enough, do u think if you were to go through a say 1-2" deep puddle anything would happen with the splashes?

Injen with aem dryflow filtre and hydro shield. before the hydro shield i found that the performance was hindered when the filter would get a bit wet or in the winter it would get iced up. our problem is is that there is a vent in the wheel well shroud that allows gravel, water and snow in the fender where the filtre is so there is a possibility that it could get wet and cause problems. since i put the hydroshield on i hve not had a problem.

one or two inches im fine

the intake sits pretty hight so as long as im not going front first into a puddle i should be good

I am fine always..... I have had it for over a year... no probs at all! just don't go in water that's deeper than your front fascia (I don't have a clue how to spell it!)

i noticed some extra tourque (sp?) not a whole lot of power but the sound is unreal!!

yep i need a hydro shield but so far its been good great throttle response.......it sucks about a litre more/ 100km but other then that its good

I find that is just cause of the heavier foot with this mod - it should come back down :-)
