Got a $161 ticket for going 127 in a 100. The LED lights on the RCMP cars are ruthless... I couldn't see ****. I'm thanking Jesus cause I know I was well north of 140 when I passed him.

Anyone who gets a ticket at a red light camera fails. I'm sorry... but when they publish a god damn list of where they are there's no excuse. For 5 months I traveled hwy 3 nearly daily going my usual 140-150, because RCMP and LRPS hardly trap and when they do I know where they are. Tonight it was a combination of bad luck because with the hard blowing wind I was more focused on keeping my car on the road, and 2 RCMP guys took advantage and had a beautiful trap set up. He got me with his laser before I even saw the car, probably. I'll give props where they're due. This is my first ticket for speeding after actually getting pulled over in 4 years of driving, that's running no radar or laser jamming... and I never drive the speed limit. Just gotta be aware.

same. i love lethbridge with the stupid photo boxes. u can spot those a mile away and just slow down.

the only time i got pulled over was when a cop, who was going the opposite directions as me, crossed my path at the crest of a hill near Speargrass outside Calgary. I literally only saw him for a second before i was going down the hill and he disappeared in my rear view mirror as he went down the other side of the hill. makes me believe they have radar running on their dash at all times...

Mind you I haven't read up on the ZZP stage3... but I thought you were going Trifecta Stage3??

Stage 3 Questions & Answers

Although TVS, and other brand stages seem good ~ frankly if I had a SS/SC, this is the route I'd go... the features are hard to beat.

yeah silver cavalier, apparently you were asleep when he gunned it beside you...
then you dropped back, and did a flyby.

ok first off we all know that gmpp does not allow the max hp gains in any of thier kits.... it is that simple... trifecta stg 3 is a completely diff thing then zzp jonathan.... trifecta is nothing more then a tune.... which would support a zzp stg 3... zzp stg 3 is a heatexchanger, 60lbs injectors with harness, 2.9-2.7 pulley, shortened belt...

i will message kris about your dampener... see what he says... besides i was kidding or did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? hahahahahah

i think i remember a cavy? that was your bros... hahahahah ya we had some fun....lol i was laying back on him... then did a fly by.... hahahah just something about when i do that and i pass you... you can probally feel my car's exhaust inside his lol. isnt that sc? i wont usually entertain a cavy, its really not fair hahahahahaah

anyway what are you doing sat aft? are you busy? i want to take a template of that decal you have....

Is it though?

The GM-Stage3 is neither certified, or covered under warranty, and as I posted yesterday, anything beyond that setup has been proven to wreck parts starting with the upper ring land...

IIRC bluecobalt had that exact problem ~ GMPP stated that anything above 301bhp, puts too much pressure on the upper ring land, and requires aftermarket pistons...

It also stated that GMPP didn't put more boost into the Stage 3, because it created too much heat, which caused other issues...

ok, it reads to me like the ZZP is an aftermarket deviation off of the GM stage 2 (heat exchanger, bigger injectors, different pulley ect, ect...

The GMPP Stage 3 (or the Trifecta version of it) needs all the (GM) Stage 2 components to work ~ but it's the added features that make the GM Stage3 that much cooler IMHO;
The integrated nitrous dry shot, and user calibrated variable rev limit is freaking cool...

The Trifecta version of the Stage 3 simply offers as standard fare, the A/C to be enabled, and if you pay more, it is offered in an HTP tunable format...

In the end it's your car, and I have no doubt that what ever you do, you will be happy... but I posted yesterday, because i thought you were going with the Trifecta Stage3, so when you posted otherwise, I was surprised...

it's all good... admittedly sometimes jokes are lost on the internet ~ and I guess this is an example of where my joking was again, lost...

yup, he said your car was really loud...

Don't kid yourself, he's not driving a regular Z24...

Although I'd like to meet up about that ~ I have a great-uncle (my grandmother's brother-in-law; him, and my great aunt were our only loclal family growing up) is in hospice care just north of Okotoks ~ Saturday late afternoon till supper is when I normally go visit with him & my aunt...

Is Sunday out of the question?

for Sunday, all I have tentatively planned is church in the morning, and if I wasn't able to meet up with Teejay, on Saturday... I will do it Sunday...

IIRC I am only getting out of Church (I volunteer during the 2nd service) 12:30pm earliest... I'll call you Saturday and we'll talk...

EDIT: You could also pop by for a bit tonight... or we could bomb down to my place at lunch...

I have the Stage 3 heat exchanger on my car. It's a lot bigger and more effiecent, it's the same one as OTTP's unit as far as I know (Not the Griffen one).

The best option about the belt is to get a GM Stage 2 belt from either your dealer or online somewhere.

Kissrocker - What happened!?

ouch to kris....doesnt look bad enough for a write off but it could be close pending if any frame damage, i hope it wasnt an at fault for you insurance

mark as for tuning once i get going again in the spring i will be loading my tunes, i estimate i spent around 36 hours fine tuning tables in hp tuners, i have a great handle on all aspects and just have one thing left to play with.

Im have a bunch of different timing tables made up to try and pull some major #'s with the new setup. Then once i get it fine tuned on the car i will get the 50 shot of nitrous and start tuning it. It will take me a couple hours of logging to fine tune it after porting the head ...just get close to having it right then i change something
