I was thinking about that too actually. Joel and I are planning to get tuned by him and acey was considering it as well. Joel talked to Vince and is having him do a complete custom turbo tune as well. So at least you will have some guaranteed customers down south.

I really hope that wasn't a stab at me?

Ya know it's really too bad I'm only getting on here and involved now, and not really sticking around. A good buddy of mine, and also the owner of the Mustang Shop here in Calgary is a great tuner. I spoke to him a week or so ago about the HPTuners software, of which he is quite aware. I had already planned on becoming a Trifecta dealer, and was hoping to had the HP software to that list, and using the Mustang Shop's dyno for any of you that wanted a real dyno tune, at a discounted rate. I've dealt with other tuning software in the past, and for all their differences... in the end, it's always the same thing.

Is Vince a Canadian guy? If so, **** ya!

ATTENTION ACEY

Hey I noticed you said something about having to squeeze a ballast under your headlight, or something to that effect... are those the projector headlamp assemblies? Or are you talking about an HID kit you have installed for those headlamps?

If so, I have a really easy fix for ya.

Hai. It fits fine, the HID ballasts fit right in front of the headlight bracket; just a snug fit making sure no wires get pinched and everything is secure when the headlight goes back in. My problem now is that when I took apart the 3rd gens, I broke the tab that holds the projector itself in place from the top, so aiming them is going to be interesting.

Cranemaster,

I'll have the trifecta cables in about a week here if you make it to Lethbridge and you should be able to just order a tune from Vince. Also if you come down to Lethbridge at all we could do a mini-meet.

My LE5 just blew up.

Was cruising in 4th at about 55 or so and it made a weird kinda sputtering noise, then I heard a BANG. It now makes a hell of a racket, a constant clanging noise... got it to the dealer, will know more on Monday.

Ideas for a new car? Really with the amount of money I've dumped into this one, I have nothing left. I need to go back to university, so I'll have to get a Civic or a Tib or something.

Dude, seriously? We were supposed to meet up tonight lol.

Did it sound like valvetrain, drivetrain or internal?

Get an SS/TC or SS/SC .

Yeh I know. Assuming it's a goner, that's why I kinda want to get another NA or a G5 GT, then I can take the wheels, springs and my other stuff with me.

I do. Not sure they'll cover it though... and given the amount of **** that has already broken on this car I dunno how smart it would be to hold on to it. Should have thought of that before I dumped even more money into it, I guess.

I don't see why they wouldn't cover it, it just blew up. If they don't cover it call GM and make them.
