Canada Calgary stage 2 kits

Has anyone bought one here in calgary? If so how much did you pay?I know they are cheaper to buy in the states but does anyone know if the dealerships here will raise any stink about where you bought one from.Any help and info would be great.

I work at a dealership here in Saskatoon, I'll check what cost is compared to retail. Mark up is usually 80-100%

I had mine installed in edmonton about 4 months ago i guess...cost me $950 installed.
if i remember i think it was $700 for the kit.

and keep in mind when you install.....if GM does it your stage 2 goes under your full car warranty.

if its not GM, you get 12 months warranty.

I bought my Stage 1 at Hyatt Saturn and had it installed by Saturn N.E. Total, I probably spent close to $1000, but that was when they were first released. Depending on what size pulley you want to run, I'd also look at getting just the Stage 1 and then get a different pulley from someone else. I'm pretty sure if you do go with the GM pulley, Pulley Boys makes 2.8" replacement.

Whatever you do, you'll notice some nice gains once it's done!

I've been quoted MANNNNY different prices for the Stage 2 kit on my 07.
I've had anywhere from 1590 or so (Jack Chev) to 1300 (High River)
Cheapest I've seen so far was 1050 in Claresholm! (I work out of town, so I normally just stop in at random shops)

Haven't really looked around in town. Don't plan on actually doing it til late spring/early summer.

Claresholm would be an alright drive. It would give me a good chance on seeing what it has but I would have to watch out for those new sheriffs that are out on the highway's now.Do you have any info by chance on that dealership there it's still a bit pricey but oh well.

That's actually were I was going to buy the kit if I couldn't find anywere up here that was reasonable.I figure I would be paying under a grand for everything if I go with crate engine depot.I could really save some cash and take you up on the offer of helping me install it in my garage to!If the offer is still there anyways

Heck, if you plan on installing it yourself, invite me.
I wouldn't mind doing it on my own car, but I've never pulled a pulley off of a supercharger before, don't know how gentle you need to be (if at all)

If you guys can get a pulley puller, I can help you do it. We just have to make sure that you get the reflash pretty soon after you have the new injectors in. I've used the Pulley Boys pulley puller, and it's pretty good. Also, since they have the 2.8" for the GM pulley hub, and a useful tool to change pulleys, if we order everything, we can save a bunch on shipping.

Either way, I'm up for helping out with a Stage kit install. Give me a shout Mike!

Sweet maybe that's what i'll do then.I've been toying with the idea of buying hptuners myself but i'll have to see if I can find a cheap laptop some where. If I get that then screw the gm stage 2 and i'll just buy all the parts for way cheaper.Either way i'll invite you down
Watcher so you can help us.Maybe we could do two cars at the same time?

When would you be able to?I can hold off for a bit to install it i'm not in a huge rush to do it.Plus if I don't get hptuners CMP is just down the street from me so we can get the cars flashed. We could book an appointment to get the reflash and then do it the morning before the appointment.Just an idea.

I'm not totally sure I want to go with Stage 2 right now though. As I would probably just be replacing the pulley sooner than later.

Maybe I'll look into what I can get a 2.8 PB Pulley with the injectors/belt seperately; Then look into the HP tuners stuff. I can get us a laptop to use for a bit if you wanted to try messing around with it.

Anybody know what GM would charge for just the ECU reflash?

When I place my order, I'm probably just going to order everything.

Pulley, Exhaust mani, exhaust, intake, (and all the junk that goes with stage2ish stuff) Ingalls TD...all that craaaapola.
