Maybe I'll look into what I can get a 2.8 PB Pulley with the injectors/belt seperately; Then look into the HP tuners stuff. I can get us a laptop to use for a bit if you wanted to try messing around with it.

Anybody know what GM would charge for just the ECU reflash?

When I place my order, I'm probably just going to order everything.

Pulley, Exhaust mani, exhaust, intake, (and all the junk that goes with stage2ish stuff) Ingalls TD...all that craaaapola.

The use of the laptop would be cool.I'll try and put an order through for hptuners here at the beginning of January.I'm just going to buy all the part's I need and do it that way.Seems like it'll be way cheaper and maybe even more gains as well but only time will tell.

hey if you are ordering all the stuff seperate and the hp tuners(awesome) get a wide band and go for the 2.6 pulley and 60 pounders. Let me know whats up. We have a press at work and if you give me the blower I can pull the pulley off for you (no charge ).Let me know how much the hp tuner kit is total shipped to your door.I was thinking of getting one but it looks scarey to me, but i guess if you save the origional program you can always go back and use that as a base.

The use of the press would be alright but I think i'm just going to get a pulley puller just so that I can do everything right on the spot.Instead of buying hp tuners yourself I might be willing to help tune your car if you pay for the credits for it.I think it's 2 credits at $50 a pop,if you don't then i'll let you know the total cost once it comes .I think I might just go with 42lb injectors and a 2.8" pulley,i've heard that some of the guys are having problems keeping there engine iddeling properly with the 60's but I'm going to look into it a bit more before I decide.

I've heard the same thing. Apparently there are some guys with the 60 lbs injectors that have a decent idle, but I think I can spend my $$$ on other things before I go to larger injectors.

Call Claresholm, see what they'll do it for.
They quoted me under 1100, that was a few months ago though.

It will run about $1000.00 CAD +-$200.00 at CMP on 36 ST and 16 Ave NE.

Well worth the upgrade.

That isn't a bad deal I work at Shaganappi and my cost on the kit is like $750 or $770 I cant remember I decided to go with the 60lb injectors and the 2.5" pulley from intense .I also ordered the hp tuners and have a guy that is going to help me tune the car when and if he has time . He, got the idle all sorted out .last year at race city he got the car in the high 12's on slicks.Once I got all this figured out I can poss give you guys a hand. But if you want warranty stick to the gmpp stage II. then put the 2.8" pully on it. Up here at 3200-3500 feet above sea level we don't seem to have the problem with the 42 lb injectors going static. Then if anything breaks powertrain related put the stage 2 pulley on the car before you bring it to the dealer for warranty. I would also recommend a wide band o2 sensor. Try and squeeze the guy more on the price now that you know the mark up.I am on hollidays but when I get back I can see what the best deal they can give is.

or just order the kit form Alpine Canada I am sure the shipping from Sask to Calgary will be under $20. then bring it to me and I will install it through the shop I am not sure if the reflash is xtra they wouldn't give me a straight answer on this when I wanted to do mine. according to the shop forman we pay gm for the vci code to reprogram it but I don't know if this is included inthe kit or extra. The lowest I think I can sneak through on the install is 2hrs x112/hr I think they normally charge like 4 hrs.If you do it yourself I can do the pulley for you like I said before if you bring me the blower. Then just book it for the reflash. I think the hp tuners and the intense stuff is the better way to go.All the stuff i ordered from intense grease and oil also because the super charger has to come apart to get the nose machined for the 2.5 pulley. cost $620 CAD including gst. the hp tuners stuff cost more it is gonna be like $900 when it finally gets here.

I could probably do something like that.

There's an SS that got in the 12's at Race City??? Who's this? I never even saw an SS even get into the 13's here. Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you a liar. I'm just a bit surpised that I didn't hear about it.

Fill me in on some more info please!

I've never heard of this silver SS. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it. The best I got this year at Race City was a 14.002 on one run, and a trap speed of 104 mph on another. This was on street tires.
