Still 2 credits per vin. Is your car an 07?

I love the tune that I have but I am running rich, I don't know if it's because of my exhaust setup or not. I will definatley save the tune that I have now I just want to see if it can be tweaked a bit on the afr side.

I didn't think pcm's were interchangable from year to year. I am pretty sure they are not from 06 to 07, cuz they went from a 16 bit pcm to a 32, I'm not sure at all about other years.

-

Where are you running rich? Just at wot?

I was told that the 06 PCM should work seeing as mines an 05 but I'll look into it more. yeah it's wot that i'm running rich.

That should be easy enough. We can tune your maf in pe, and optimize your EQ table to get a nice safe and powerful afr at wot.

Is you maf cruise tuned?

What afr do you get at wot?

Yeah, sounds like you need to tune your MAF and VE cruz. Then tune your MAF WOT. Then adjust your PE EQ. Who's tune are you running Malek. PM me, I think I know who it is.

If I'm not mistaken, he has the same tune that I used to run my 13.7.

The tune was set so I would see 12.5:1 at WOT and it got rich quick. Before that adjustment, at WOT, it would go to about 13.5:1 to 13:1 and it would then slowly richen up. Keep in mind, this tune is also set for race gas and with race fuel, you need to run richer since the ideal AFR for race gas is richer at about 13.5:1.

Do you have a wideband Mike? If you don't, I'd really consider getting one before tuning a bit more. At least we know that tune is "safe". At some point before you tune, I'd love to go for a ride in it to see how it is!

ah now it all makes sense to me . So when do you want to go down and get some race gas anyways Ed. Wideband is coming in the mail I needed to get it exchanged under warranty. I really don't want to do any tuning until I can get my downpipe fixed, new one should be here in 2 weeks or so.

That's why I had it changed to command 12.5:1!

Hope you don't mind what I shared about that tune Mike (Malek). I just thought everyone could benefit a bit from how that tune was developped.
