Are you planning on racing or just watching?

Good luck boys, I want ot see a 13 out somebody....
Practice like crazy, it's all in the 60ft.
Don't forget to haze the tires to get the gravel off, but do it after you go around the water box.

I'll be happy if I can actually get 14.99 this time, my last time out (which was my first time) my best time was 15.15 @ 93.5mph with a 2.36 60ft time.

Yeah completely stock. Since last time I purchased the K&N Typhoon intake and had just a performance muffler installed but I haven't had time to put the intake on yet.

was a fun night!
the big giant rain cloud missed the track.
unfortunately it stuck around 17 degrees the entire night until the last 2 passes or so, and i was gettin heatsoaked kinda bad cuz there wasnt alot of people there, so the runs were pretty quick
i think i got 11 runs? lol

anyway,
best run 14.2@97 2.3 60ft
Best ET 14.2
best MPH 99
best 60ft 2.28

im really happy with this as a first time out to the track this year.
im delerious that i finally got a 2.2 60fter, sadly the MPHs were a bit low almost all night due to heat soak (ive trapped 101 with less mods than i have now)

but at full weight with a halftank of gas on my first night....im happy
I feel that i can get 13s by the end of the season.

well i have to say i had a blast.
i ran 14 times! traction was my biggest nme, as well as my clutch slipping going into second a little too long.
i lost to a obviosly modded 240 sx which ran 13.888@104.98
i lost to a new stang gt twice,(who ran a 13.96 and a 13.98@101.9 however, i beat a different stang gt in another heat, who ran a 14.6@98.
and the car that ate me was a modded srt-4 which ran 13.34@109.93.
i got to beat a 90ish GTA, a 2000ish camaro ss conv., a alder svt sang (musta been ick)our orange g5 buddies car!!, an s-10 extreme, a s-10 with a 350, a GMC truck, sx 2.0 neon, srt4 (had to be stock), and anomolous beat me to the finish line altho i had a slightly better et. nice driving tonight steve!
my best run was 14.09@100.68.
best et 14.09
best mph 100.78
best 60ft 2.27
best rt .428

14.292

few things lastnight really made me happy
i had ALOT of people, even oldschool fellas...come up and compliment me on how the
car is looking. i was really happy about that.
out of 11 passes. i didnt miss a single shift. thank you hurst!!!

big props to curtis. first time at the track ever and he rips off a 14.1 on his first pass!!!!
yeah that orange SRT4 was stock. and i got to run him 3 times.
ohhhhh did that feel good haha. great guy though. talked to him lots.

MAN am i really thinking about that cry02 system lol.
my temps were sitting at about 150 IAT2 and 190 coolant at the start of every run.

edit: I had my interceptor going for a couple of runs. and every time it was around 0.2 sec faster than my slip. (as long as i didnt spin much)
i was kinda pleased at how close it was. and it seemed pretty consistant.

interceptors ftw!!!

well, i broke my exhaust somehow. i think it was real hot with all those runs, and it broke during the night while cooling off. i didnt hear it when i parked for the night, but in the am, it was kinda obvious, and when driving it sounds like im dragging a honda behind me..

Well I improved my best "stock" time to 14.842@95.8mph from 15.158 last time out. I did a total of 7 runs and only one was over 15s and that was because I missed 3rd gear.
