Wow, a white mine. Looks a lot different than the coal mines that are around here? I'm assuming it's a salt mine?

Haha, its not bad really. We have so much room its crazy. Lunch rooms, shops, bays, huge overhaul shops with 50 Ton cranes in them (we missed the new one Matt). I tried to go in hard rock mines in the states, and couldn't do it because i am clausterphobic. But i work 12+ hours a day down here with no problem!

Yes, its a Potash Mine, we are Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan (PCS) Rocanville Division. Some production info if anyone is interested, PCS Rocanville

Not only are we the most technologically advanced mine in North America, we are also the number 1 Safest!

Yep, top rate is $42/hr, but i'm just an apprentice operator so far. We also get Production/Safety bonuses too! And i'm a mushroom, so it doesn't bother me that much.

Oh, and the Polar Bear Miner (all our miners are named after bears) is the second, more lit up miner in Matts photos. It was operating on Third(pass) Auto. Just the compy was running it while the operators... *ahem* tended to other things.

Once our two month shutdown is over, we will be hiring again. We need 200+ more people, hired across the next four years, for permanent positions. And EuroChevy, yes it is, probably the last stop in Canada before it goes to China (our major buyer).
