So we've talked and bantered back the Idea of having a meet when It gets warmer, how about some definate dates, and some locations?

I would love to. I routinely travel to Red Deer, and Edmonton is not to far off. Most any weekend is good, even better with a couple weeks notice!! But yes.

Anytime from April 14th to lets say October 14. :-)

 

That's cool, Red Deer seems the best place to meet for all of us, the problem is only two of us seem to be chimeing in.

 

I'd be down, but would most def need some notice, a good two weeks or so.

Agreed, I was thinking may long weekend would be cool, but 3 people is going to be a small crowd.

 

Depending on when you guys do this I may be up for a road trip. I was born in Edmonton and my plan is to get back there to see my brother this summer preferably on a weekend for street legal cars. So obviously prior planning is a must.

 

If you're planning this summer, then I'm sure we could set up a meet for when you come... This is more of an Initial meet before the summer, to get to know everyone and have a little fun.

 

well if you wanna meet up on maylong, you could go to sylvan lake and therell be all the Jspeed crew there, could camp up with them and get some good spots plus a way bigegr croud, but im in for meets jsut gotta give me some time

 

Humh. I'd be down for a meet I guess. I just finished university before Christmas, so I am working full-time at my crappy old PT job until I find permanent work. As a result I work over the entire weekend, so evenings would be the only time good for me. So in Edmonton, or close to it would be better for me. Red Deer may be too far of a drive for me to get to when I only have the evening off.

Avro206 and I had discussed meeting up at Bud Park near the Edm. Int. Airport just outside of Leduc. I don't know what night street legals are, but maybe we could meet in Edmonton or Leduc and hit the track for some safe, legal racing if anyone is up for it.

We'll whatever happens, I may be able to book some time off. If I coordinate my vacation time with our meet, I may get a whole day off to travel to Red Deer or Calgary.

 

So you work every Weekend? What I had in mind would probably be on just a Sunday, not sure if you could maybe ask or reschedule for that day off...

Good to start hearing about availability, bud park sounds like a good Idea too.

Yes, that is my shitty weekend of work. If we firm up a date for a meet, I may be able to get it off though. It just depends when and what is going on at work. In all likely hood, and evening meet is all I could make.

But, when we decide on a date, I'll see what we can do. Worst case, if the meet is in Edmonton or nearby, I could just meet up later with you guys.

 

What we should do is have a mini meet at a burger joint to introduce ourselves and talk about the possibilities of the big meet, where-ever that may end up...
