Ok I have an idea and I get no response! No real response to my idea to have a meet in Red Deer! WTF First of all having a meet this soon is a little off the wall as it is winter and who wants to meet up with thier winters on.. All be it I'd rather meet with snow falling then rain,lol..

I don't want to sound like an ******* but I think having meets in RD is great, not because I'm lazy and don't want to drive, **** thats why I have a car! I like drivin, but meets in RD make it easier for those that live in Calgary etc. Soo what if RD is the truck capital of Canada .. I also think having a Cobalt meet when there are little car shows (like in Olds, or where ever the have it) is cool too.. Lets make the Cobalt standout from all the other Honda's, Toyota's, Neons/Calibers etc!! I wanna peice of pie god damnit!!! Soo ya, like I've mentioned in past threads! Lets have a meet in RD for once.. When its right of course

P.S.
If theres anyone on from Red Deer speak up and show yourselves

i down with it. as long as the weathers good. but i think it would be best in the spring. at least that would give me time to fix my door and have the nice rim's on, not the steelys lol.

hey guys i can't seem to start a new post but i have a question

when i moved out from ontario i hit a rock in sudbury and crack my oil pan, now i patched it with some expoxy putty and made it out here but thats another story. when i went to buy a new oil pan they said there was two listed one cost about $ 400 the other about $1700 i was wondering if anybody knows whats with the $1700 oil pan this was at carter chev olds in calgary, these cars need a skid plate oil pan and anything on the road = problems, by the way not covered by warrenty

can any body tell me how to start a new tread , my father races speedway there motorcycles , they run on methonal so i have a good knowleged about engines on methonal, for the stage 2 cobalts the compression under full boost must be around 12.5 -1 or higher it claims factory 9.5 - 1 but the boost creates artficial compression esspecially with the stage 2, now with higher compression we want more octane so with stage 2
100+ octane would be good, but so this fuel i found intresting, you can buy methnol at Canadian tire. They even make special oxygenated methonal, but that another thread

What are some of methanol's characteristics?

M85 (85 percent methanol and 15 percent unleaded gasoline) has an octane rating of 102, compared to 92 for premium unleaded and 87 for regular unleaded gasoline.

M85 showed a 50 percent reduction in total toxic air pollutants suspected or known to cause cancer (including acetaldehyde; benzene; 1,3 butadiene), when compared to gasoline.

here lays the problem this amount of methonal runs cooler then conventional gas.

so plugs will have to be hotter, timing will need to be retared, and more compression is better.

i know this is really long but i am looking for input from you guys

so i am thinking mill the head/after market pistons
hotter plug

just trowing i out there
