low speed front impact testing.

the US does its test at 2.5mph
canada used to do it at 5mph,
cars like the GTO, and EVO, sustained to much damage at 5mph frontal impact to be allowed in.

canada has now harmonised its safety regs to match the US.

How much and how many K does it have? It's probably reserved for God anyway...

haha 5mph? I wonder the damage you get into that at that low speed. I wish when someone hit my cobalt they were going 5mph and not 25mph.

Well, welcomed and being let in are two ways of looking at it. I prefer the "let in" route. But yes, fanbois are already kicking the streets up with them.

Why in the world do some people think that HP is a limiting factor as to weather a car is street legal or not? NEWS FLASH!!!! HP has NOTHING to do with if a car is legal or not!

Now maybe you can get rid of that turd SS and get a real mans car! Oh and grow some chest hairs too! Chics dig it!

Well beings he was asking why it wasn't allowed in glorious , he listed random reasons.

I have never heard of a car getting too bad of a fuel economy to be legal.

I am sure it will happen in the not so distant future...and Japan had a HP cap for awhile.

He was just throwing suggestive questions out there.

:feeds the Jackalope:

It will be ok

I wasn't getting on him per say, LOTS of people have been asking that question and I figure the more I post it being nonsence the more people it will reach.

That was a gentelmans agreement in Japan hence the Skyline R34 which broke that HP limit and laughed doing it.

Gas guzzler tax ring any bells?

Whats for dinner I'm hungry?

I average just under 20 mpg in my cammed gto. On the freeway I can get between 23-26 mpg. If it wasnt modded I would see around 27 maybe 28 mpg.

**** if any of you Canadians want my car I will sell it to you for a lot cheaper then 36k
