Im buying a truck!!

I am buying a truck this weekend. Just waiting on delivery.

2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Turbo Diesel.
Quad Cab Short Box
Heated Leather Seats, All other options. Power Sunroof, Power Rear Sliding Window.
Dark Mineral Grey.
4-Inch Lift with 33 inch Tires. Body-Colored Fender Flares. Chrome Mud Flaps and Step Bars.

Should be a good truck for work.

Debating on whether I should keep the cobalt or lose like 8 grand and trade it in. Ill probly keep it and use it as my weekend dragster.

With the truck and commercial insurance on it, and the cobalt and its insurance... ill be paying like 3 grand a month for vehicle and insurance payments lol.

He said commercial insurance, I'm sure that's a little steeper than most. Anyhoo if you're into Dodges thats a good truck to get. Congrats.

The CDN dollar isnt much lower than the US dollar right now you guys.

$1 CDN = $1.11 US Right now.

But anyways. I work in the Oil and Gas Industry. I am a Night Supervisor for a Well-Testing Company. I do completions of gas wells working along-side a service rig.

I am 19 years old and I started as an assistant and was promoted to night supervisor after 14 months.

I make alright money

But anyways, do you guys think I should keep the Cobalt? Or should I get rid of it and mod the truck? I know there are a few turbo swaps i can do with the truck and make some pretty big power out of it.

If $ isn't an issue, I would definitely keep the slobalt. I don't think you'll regret keeping it, but you might regret getting rid of it!

Off topic: I can't wait until the canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar. I think my computer will explode when I try to open this website on that day.

nice man!!! id say keep both, but honestly do what you figure would be best for you? You could definatly get some good coin for your car and with less payments a month could make the truck KILLER.

By the way Cody, need any employees?

looks like I wont be able to keep the cobalt and the truck. Its one or the other.

I need the truck for work... becuase having personal truck = doubling my income.

So looks like i am trading the cobalt in.

So if everything goes through.... should have the truck by this weekend.

And yes I am planning to mod the truck....

Maybe in a year after establishing more credit and making more money, I can get the 08 turbo balt if it comes out. If it doesnt come out, well, the GXP or Sky Redline will just have to do.

Oh Cody.
You were just afraid of me showing up to the same track as you when you had the Cobalt there. Cobalt

yea buddy, thats why i was sorta leaning to just the truck in my previous post. its want vs need and well, you NEED the truck and with a truck you dont NEED a cobalt. you're young, keep 1 vehicle and save SOME money (though we just know you're going to blow it all on mods for your truck haha)
