i went to the stelaership. oil changes dont make them much money at all. keep in mind our ss s/c cars use mobile 1™ syn, and i pay $100. mr lube charges a lil less i think, but it will still be up there. dont get cheap oil, or your have a blower like leafy's.

The blower is self-sealed. Unlike a turbo, the supercharger has its own life supply of oil, and does not draw any engine oil from the crankcase of the engine.

As far as the oil change, go buy your oil and bring it to the dealership. It may save you some money. Superstore and Walmart are usually pretty cheap for Mobil 1 (about $8.00 Litre). Then the dealership will only charge you for labour and the filter.

If you have a walmart that does oil changes go there. There like 40 dollars for mobil 1 synthetic and you can watch them do the oil change.

They're in Canada...still a lot, but not as bad as you'd think. Cheapest is always DIY, but like others suggested, 2nd best is if the dealership will take your own oil and charge you labor + filter.

okay.... I got my last oil change for 20 bucks from the dealership! call the dealership or local parts store and ask them what FRAM oil filter fits in your vehicle (you have to say it's an 05' cause they won't have a listing for an 06 I work in a parts store so the latest information anyone has is for 05 models) I believe the filter number is a CH9018 it's a cartridge filter (don't quote me on the filter number I can find out for sure tomorrow and post it ASAP though) Get mobile 1 oil from wherever it's cheapest and bring it and the oil filter into the dealership.... It costs you a total of about 70-80 bucks (including labour, oil and oil filter)which is really good for synthetic oil changes

Well, what an interesting event getting your oil changed can be. I went to Mr Lube as that was the suggestion of the first person who replied and also i've been there before, but what happened this time was a little different. So im sittin there in my car for 20 minutes before the 3 bay garage has a spot, i pull up and they pop the hood. Told him i need the oil change They asked brand i said mobil 1 synthetic that was all correct ect.. so anyways time to change the oil. the guy takes off that black pipe connected to the SC so its easier to get to so i had no prob with that. then he removes the oil lid cover and drops it in the engine bay.. so after about 10 minutes of trying to get it back out he calls someone else over and he pulls out some kind of tool for these things. a few minutes later they put that away... they called Another guy over and he just reached in and grabbed it after about 30 seconds. The first guy said to him oooh are you burnt i didnt wanna reach in there its too hot, the guys like no im fine, heres the cover. i was just lmao at these tards. anyways after that things went smoothly, was $97 total which i expected... and as for the question as to how many clicks i got on her before i hit 3% it was a little over 10K. However even at 10k the oil didnt seem too dirty so i think that Mobil1 kicks ass and that the reader in our cars is really accurate. Im pretty sure i could have gotten maybe another 2-3k np but I wanted to get it changed anyway.

thought that i've read in the maintenance manual that you dont need to get it changed at all until the meter says you have to.. but i changed mine at 40% anyways when i got the stage 2 installed..

Actually it does void your warranty, esspecially if you use the wrong filter/oil.. Just get a reciept and proof that you used the correct stuff and u'll be fine.. Its called covering your ass..
