Leasing No more

So did everyone hear on the news that GM is no longer going to be leasing anymore vehicles due to the fact that they arent making any money off of them, so now they are going to offer 0% purchase for up to 6 years.

This is not true, they will not be leasing to D and E tier customers, which in my opinion isn't a big deal because those are higher risk people that in their eyes won't take care of the vehicle and probobly wont pay ontime everytime anyway. Chrysler will not be leasing after august first though. so i will, with a smile, be leasing vehicles to their unhappy customers in which i cannot wait

Thanx for clarifying that the news just said that leasing is done period but what you said sounds alot more logical.

a spokesperson for GM stated that they will still offer standard lease rates. They are mearly pulling the plug on lease incentives. So basically, no more "cheap" leases.

This was also confimed by my old man, who is the finance manager at Sherwood.
