What type of tint are they using? Dyed or metal.

I just talked to The Car Salon on 32 Ave NE across from McCall golf cource and heres what he said.

He will tint your windows for the following costs

If you have:

Dyed Tint

Two windows Cleaning $20.00
Two windows $80.00 - 20.00 cleaning cost = $60.00

Metal Tint

Two windows Cleaning $20.00
Two windows $100.00 - 20.00 cleaning cost = $80.00

If you want all five done I need to know who is in so I can get a cost for you and I will set up an appointment and a code word with him and let you know what it is. They are open Saturday from 9 - 5 and if need be we can probably set up appointments for individuals who would either want the full tint or just the two windows replaced.

The deal is he will wave the cleaning cost

What do you guys think. Oh Yah! I told him our plight and he's on board. haha

 

im not sure what tint they use, whats the difference between dyed and metal?! im assuming its just a normal tint that we all had taken off...

 

Tint master uses the metal as it reflect the sun better i believe - thats where i got mine done origionally - dyed from my understanding fades and turns purple after time...

as for the prices I wouldnt be able to do thursday as I work but the saturday option sounds easier for me and Terri might be in for that too for her back 3 as she is back in town then.

Well to get these prices I need to know how many want to get just the two windows replaced and how many would like to get the whole or part of there cars done. I am not going to bother the guys at the Car Salon if we don't have many takers. The prices I quoted are for two windows only and I told him once I have more numbers on who wants what done I would get back to him. So if you guys would like to go this route let me know by posting your name. the date you are available. Like I said they are open saturdays but I'm sure for the group thing we would be able to book seperate dates for those that need it.

kaisoboy, i would like to get my front 2 done! and im free saturday. if not im going to go to tintmaster, by myself. i dont wanna wait long, lets get a groupbuy together ASAP! anyone happen to know what kind of tint mr-detail uses? thats where i origionally it done, but they charge 180 for 2 windows so im not going back. ill go anywhere though. kaiso, tREBs and i will forsure be in for sat if we can get a time!!.
