So i didnt want to keep clouding up the offical meet thread with this so ill just make a new post. Couple people mentioned they want me to pm them when i get in edmonton to go to the track. Just wondering who is interested.

I'm leaving Nova Scotia saturday (june 13) in the morning, going to spend a few days in Ont. and pick my CF Trunk up...would get the hood too but i just bought a bike alarm for my ninja. Army is giving me 9 days to get out there and i have to use it up so ill be taking my time. So ill probably get into edmonton Thursday or Friday and then Saturday i want to hit the track (if i have time.) Guy came and looked at what i have, he also told me when i get into edmonton i call them to see if the truck is there, if its not....hotel i stay...ill unload the car so i dont have tons of weight in it and then head to the track. If it is there, ill meet them at my apartment and should have the stuff unloaded in a few ours and then hit the track...lol.

So whos interested? would like a few people to come out so i can get to know some people and someone can give me some pointers since it will be my first time on the track.

Hey guys not to sure if i'll make it out saturday all depends what i can work out with work and the girlfriend, but i will defenitly let you guys know more closer to the date. Defenitly would be nice to meet up , i know there are lots of people i've never met myself. Seems i'm never around or either to busy working.

 

so thats not this friday, but next... heck yeah I'll be there.

 

yea should be fun...is it open runs on saturday and sunday at castrol? For my first time at the track im aiming for low 14's - high 13's. Still got a small issue at 3500rpm in first so i gotta take it easy when i take off.

yup thats june 20th. Like i said, thats if everything goes to plan for me...still gotta drive there....5500km drive in a few days...should be fun.

 

the street legals are only on Friday night (open runs)

They usually hold events on the weekends

We'll both put about a car length on him! I race stock ones all the time at the track. They're a good match for me or a semi-stock tc.

I'll be there at 6pm on the dot tomorrow. I'm in saskatoon right now, 700kms to go...leaving here at 6am....got to get the keys to my new apartment, see if the moving truck is here and my gf has a job interview. Gonna have to spend a few hours washing the car, i never see it this dirty before. But yea ill be there at 6pm. What time does the track close?

Why don't we all meet at UC at 5:30 or 6pm and cruise down together? :P Just a thought..

 

UC? whats that, dont forget im new to Edmonton, only was there for 6 days to find a apartment, i have gps so if you can give me the address or w/e it is i can input it in and be there.

 

United Cycle.. its a good sized parking lot where all the tuners meet generally every Friday night around 8pm. Address is 10323-78 Avenue and it's accessed by going NORTHbound on Gateway Blvd. You'll see it just passed Tim Horton's and it'll be on your left hand side. Nobody has posted though, so Idk if anybody else would show or not :P If u want, I'll go there and wait for ya until 6pm b4 going to the track. Or we could just go to the track and meet there.. but I've never been to the track before myself lol.. but I do know where it is

I think ill like it just as much as halifax. At least now i have a track that is in quick driving range. Either way works for me for now. If the moving truck did make it here then ill probably just go straight to the track because ill have to mark everything off as they unload the truck. Have to inspect everything and all that stuff. Plus i need to get to a kawasaki dealership to buy the hook-up cable for my alarm for my bike. Got a good deal on a Scorpio alarm in halifax cuz i know the guy ($100 off) but they didnt have the cable to hook it up so i need to go get it and put the alarm on the bike.

So yea, ill keep checking to see whats going on and when i get into the city tomorrow ill pop online to see what everyone is doing. As of now count me in at meeting at UC.

 

Hay knightwolf I dont think I have ever met you in person but think I mite have been driving beside you on 97st one time. If it was I was a black ss/tc lol Kinda a long shot but whatever...

 

Ya.. not sure dude but I was just leaving UC the night you came back from the track.. I had to work at 6am on a Saturday.. and I was tired :s

Ok Snakes.. I'll check this thing b4 I go anywhere after work tomorrow, I'm gonna haul ass to get done early (gotta wash the car tomorrow too b4 I go.. the rain today got it filthy) so I'll be at UC around 5:30 and I'll wait until let's say 5:50.. if nobody shows I'll just head on down to the track.

 

sorry guys but i won't be making it out, gotta get back to red deer quick to pack and head to mb to suprise my niece for her bday.

 

hope the weather holds off, suppose to be sun with some showers today.
