need some help

ok guys I realy need some help I blew a hole in my flex pipe on my exhaust and i been every where and they tell me there is no part out there that can fix it , I have to buy a new cat and the cheeps one i found yet was 659.00 Can anyone help me?????? I got a 2006 colbalt ss/sc

ya your a little pooched. unless you can find one on here in the classified section your lookin at another $700 purchase.

how did you blow a hole in your flex pipe anyways?

i think the 2.4 and the 2.0 use the same downpipe but not the 2.2 but i could be wrong.

they cover those under warranty...i had mine fixed under warranty...its the engine movement bends the flex pipe an the pressure eventually breaks a small chip out of the flex pipe..GM knows this and has told dealers ...i was the 4th one to have it fixed at my dealer alone..if not then jus get a zzp downpipe for cheap...better than a stock one anyhow

The same thing happened to me two weeks after my warranty ran out. I'm pretty sure its a defect in the pipe. the dealer where i bought the car from replaced it on warranty

the same thing happened to me a month ago and i posted on here and within an hour someone local had a stock flex pipe and sold it to me for 10 bucks. im sure someone on here has one they will sell you! CSS.net FTW! good luck!
