I'm not sure where you would find a set in/around Regina. I would post a Kijiji ad or Used Regina ad and see what you get.

Don't know about balt owners but some RL owners might be swapping heads and doing brembo's. Changing IC setups and such.

Cool. I know my buddy ryan is doing coilovers and wheels on his cobalt. And I have a pretty big build going on this winter. Once its all built up we need to all get together for a meet

I'm not doing a crazy build or anything. Finishing up the full 3" exhaust, probably Powell CAB's and harness bar, a few apperance things and then a single pass ported intake mainfold and hopefully a custom cooler for the intercooling system.

That's quite a bit of work ahead of you over the winter. Sounds like an interesting build!

Holy that is a ton of work. We definitely need to have a meet or something next year so I can check that out.

Hey guys, just throwing this out there...

I sold my SS SC in March, but still have the stock springs from it. If anyone with an LS or LT is looking for a stiffer, better handling ride, let me know. I'm looking to get $50 obo. I believe they also lower the car 1 - 1.5".

Hey guys, got myself a cobalt a few months back and didn't realize there was a thread like this around. I'm a vr '06 SSNA. Also, anyone know what a good shop for minor body and paint work is? My car's in shambles, and I'm gonna need to give it some TLC and a few new parts to get it back into shape.

Taylor Toyota in Moose Jaw did a pretty good job on my brothers car. That is pretty well my only direct experience with shops around Regina.

Some others may pipe up though.

Eh, anything local? I had someone suggest the SIAST AB shop class, but after I saw that Solstice.... [shudder]

Also, I wondered why the HIDs this guy had were so dim, pulled them out and found they were blue-painted sylvanias. Quality. Think I'mma ditch his flowmaster system too, maybe.

Yeah... the first tip off that they werent HIDs should have been no extra wiring harness or ballasts. I don't reccomend running HIDs in the stock reflector housings anyways.

It showed up when I saved from a stall, and it's recurred every so often ever since. The mechanic took a ride with a tech-II hooked up and said I ride the clutch too much. Dammit, why don't they put lights in at Ross and Sioux?

Oh ok, that makes sense. I'm still a little confused on why that situation would throw a code. Driving a manual takes practice and each car is different. These cars (and I can only speak frome experiance of driving an SS/SC) is that these clutches are very much on/off and have a very small engagement point which makes them a little challenging to drive. Riding the clutch can be a bit of an issue with newer divers to manuals with these cars I find as its not the smoothest transition from partially engaged to fully engaged.

Got my exhaust installed. I am liking it so far! I wasn't thinking I'd still be able to drive the car this late in the year but the roads are dry and clear!

It's in Moose Jaw. It doesn't go for very far... well the vid actually shows all of that road pretty well.
