Pirelli Warranty

Has anyone had to use their Pirelli warranty yet, because their tread dissapeared way to quickly. The Chev dealership today told me that all of my tires are bald now, and I have only put on 25'000 km. I don't really want to be putting all new tires on, especially right before christmas. F.Y.I. I have never raced my car, also I have almost never squaked the tires off of a red light. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The P-Zeros have no treadlife warranty, they are only warranted against manufacturing defects, unless the Canadian warranty is different. The other Pirellis do have treadlife warranties though, just not the P-Zero or Corsa series. Good luck trying to claim excessive wear as a defect, let us know if you do actually get them to replace them.

LOL!!! You gotta be kidding! Suck it up and buy new tires. You weren't actually going to try and drive through winter on the stock tires were you?

I don't know about the P-Zero's, but my P6's on my 2.4 did that too. The rears are showroom new, and the fronts were smoother than a baby's ass. But I don't race THAT often, and I never ever do burnouts. I hardly ever even chirp. I think they just take corners too tught and it wears them out mad quick. I noticed my car handling kinda crappy and then I saw why. I have like 15,000 on them. One year and they were replaced in the front. I like the tires, but that's insane. I didn't figure there'd be a warranty, so i just ordered 2 more from Tire-Rack online. I just got 2 new P6's. I hate having2 different kinds of tires on my car. but when I need to change them again, I'm getting different ones. It's weird though, the Pirelli 17's were the cheapest on Tire-Rack for my wheel size. Dunno, just shitty though. Good luck with it.

Quick reminder, he said 25,000 km, that's about 15,500 miles.

This is in one of the Canada forums eh?

Ouch, the P6s are warrantied 64,000km for V speed rated and 80,000km H speed rated original equipment fitments, you could have had them replaced.

My stock pirellis are at about 1/4 in after 20k, not too bad. I'd like to get one more summer out of them. No burnouts for me

Have you used these tires in the quarter mile?
If you have, what kind of 60' times do you get with them?

ive used them at my 1000' track, but i cant really say if they are any better than the pirellis or not because i sucked at driving and it was cold as **** when i used them. i have gotten used to them on the street, but they def. spin at the top of first and into second, but from what i remember the pirellis did the same thing. the kumhos are half the price though

Well I'm not from Canada but I thought I might have the best "worst" tires.
Here's some pictures of my tires.

*Note: I do not race at all, never even squealed the tires*

Guess how many miles are on the car, and then we'll see if I have a sufficient gripe.

I'm about 90% convinced that my car had the front tires swapped out before I took delivery of it. SOB
