yes i went!! why werent u there!!

I met a cool redline guy. He has a silver redline with a 2.4L ion wing. (sleeper)

He is stock exept for removed airbox, and 3.1 inch pulley.

He is a cool guy, I gave him my email so we will see if he gets on here. He trapped 95 mph so that shows the increase in power from the pulley. becuase stock he should be trapping 92-93 mph like jase.

This redline was runnign high 15s (track conditions sucked) but i think 14.7-14.9s are EASILY reachable for him when he learns to get off the line quickly.

As for me.... well My clutch is fucked and i quit after 2 runs. (clutch couldnt hold second gear AT ALL)

He ran a great trap because it was the best night of the year so far.
The air was about 3700ft from 7-8pm, then got better between 8-9.
Great night for racing in Calgary, but heard they cancelled because soe guy in a porsche crashed.
Was the new track smooth?

I left at 9 pm becuase they were stopping becuase of rain delays....... and i didnt think the rain would stop..... 9 i was just watching becuase i couldnt race). The porsche must have crashed after i left.

I found that the new pavement was smooth, but pretty slick. Most FWD cars couldnt grab any traction at all in first. It didnt help that it was lightly sprinkling rain the whole time (very lightly) but enough to make a difference in traction IMO.

Id like to know what happened with the porsche though.....
