Race city secret street
Assuming there is no snow on the ground (knock on wood) I may go down just for ***** and giggles.
Not too sure I want to run, never 1/4 miled a car with fwd before
but it would be nice to see a few of the 'Balt Bretheren out struting there stuff
Will be there the 23rd and 24th, season opener for the bikes on the roadcourse
Looks like I may be the starter this year, gonna see how that shakes out.
Last year for the track
gotta get out there while we can!

Ok just a question for you local guys is hitting 14s in a stock ss/sc optomistic for my first time out? some guy on beyond "local forum not sure if you guys go on it" is sayin he had the fastest time on the local cobalt forum in his rsx at 13.5 and that stg 2s are lucky to get mid 14s
well tech goes till about 9ish actually. racing starts at 7. so you usually want to be there between 5 and 6 to get a few runs in before it gets too crowded but seeing as its the season opener i doubt it will be too packed.
Just a note to you all....the city (in it's usual wisdom) has decided to start ripping up 68th so they can build a new access into the dump. Drove by last weekend and the only gate accessable is the far north one (media / sponser / vip).
You will not be able to get to the gate from the south, only from 114th. And traffic will be stupid, expect the line to start somewhere near 52nd
At least the forecast looks a little better....can't see getting any grip at all with the track at near freezing....brrrrrrr

The rsx guy is right.
When I ran stock I was like a 14.9 and that was in Edmonton where the track is just about exactly .3 faster than Calgary. So yeah if you're stock and a good driver you will be lucky to hit 15.3 ish. Stage 2 will be around 14.7 about. The one and only time I raced in Calgary last year I was like 14.2 all night long I could not break into the 13's. Yet in Edmonton I can run 13.8 all night.
So yeah that's just my experiance.

I ran 15.1 in Calgary completely stock except for airbox mod and I'm sure I could have done better given more runs, but will see this Friday I guess.....then there was the time i messed up nicely and ran a 17 cause i wasn't paying attention lol
