ya its HDR. i actually took like 8 photos and merged it into that one photo. the properly exposed one is this.



i like hdr more since its kinda of artsy but a lot of people hate it and think its not real photography. which i totally understand

it was. I know a bald eagle when I see one. the unmistakeable white head and tail is pretty easy to spot with a mountain backdrop

bald eagles have a black body. you might have just seen the body and the head might have been in front of the snow top of the mountain

That was for sure a nice full day... from what I heard, the weather in Calgary was actually cooler/windier than anything we dealt with all afternoon!

Joel, I'm sorry to have heard about friday's mishap - I wish I could have been there, you could have towed the car to my place, and had it done saturday morning - I'm glad to hear that tere was no (body/paint) damage... maybe you can make it next time?
