I got mine negotiated down to 27,000 flat taxes in but it was stickered for 29,500 plus taxes so gives u an idea on how bad they rape us up here... considering out dollar is on par now.
HOLY CRAP. I walked out the door with mine during closeout for the 05s.......$19,600. WOW that's nuts. Sticker on mine was $24k.
285 HP and 265 ft/lbs of torque and it still only runs a 14.6 quarter mile. Surely that's not accurate. That's a damn shame waste of automobile then. Think what the cobalts would be running if the LSJ put out those numbers stock.
Ok STARTING at $24 grand is a good deal? In what world? That means an option up one will run you closer to the $28 grand mark! And it runs a 14.6? That can't be right! Can it? If so my sedan when I'm done will give them a hard time!
They may still take me but they're gonna have to work at it!
And on top of that its still ugly!
And on top of that its still ugly!
I would imagine this car is in all reality a 14.1 car
Remember the original SRT-4 claims not the first release but the 2nd gen if you can call them that.
Then think about what stock srt4's actually ran
You can never tell these days until you drive them yourself

Of course like you say--if you load it up with junk then it will be alot more. Won't find many stripper models--as dealers make good profits on options.
they don't rape us too bad on Cobalts....Corvettes they sure do!!

These are numbers to the crank, not to the wheels. Realstic numbers would be 230-240 whp. They need to throw one on the dyno to get some #'s. Also with a 6-speed they are losing momentum thru the gears. Having to go thru gears quicker and not able to stay in a key power band for very long. The torque is very disappointing as well. Not 300 lb /ft as advertised.
chances are i drive one before anyone b/c i work at a high volume chrysler dodge jeep dealer, i get pics and video driving and putting one thru the paces, we can even race it right away with GAMEBAY 11's balt
