Anyone in Calgary or Edmonton going out to the track tonight?? I finally have a free Friday and I'm looking to pop my track cherry

Wondering if I would meet up with someone who could show me the ropes, give me a few tips etc. I would be at either track by 7 at the latest. Let me know guys!

 

I'll be at race city tonight. Its only gonna be my second time at the track though. U might wanna go as early as possible so u can get through tech as I heard SCC is tomorrow so its gonna be crowded tonight with people trying to dial in their rides

I was thinking Edmonton as the Calgary track will be way busy tonight. Also I heard the one in Edmonton is a better track.

calgary was bunk. i got there at 9:00 to watch and at about 930 there was a ******* windstorm so everyone evacuated. it was still sweet for the 30 mins i was there.

 

Were you heading north up Crowchild around 9:45 or so? Possibly with another black SS/SC's?

 

Well Rob and I went, met up with Steve (Anomolous). It was pretty shitty weather at Castrol too, very windy, light rain at times dark, cold and blah! Alot of people left it seems? Steve your car is very coolness, lol. To bad you didn't get the times you wanted but damn good reaction times!!!

Rob and I saw the blue srt4 get seriously looked over on the side .. I think the car got scared when it met yours and broke.. No offense, kinda sucked. Def have to try that drag racing *****

And hey Rob, sorry I seemed to have lost you on the way back to RD.. The cops were sitting in the ditches and on those access roads in between the highway. They would hit the car with the laser/radar at the last second Damn can't even speed at night anymore. But no tickets

 

Haha yeah definately kinda dissapointed I didnt get to run. Oh well though, I didnt want to waste money if they were gonna shut it down. It was definately still fun to watch. Holy **** batman that POS white hatchback civic was fast! low 11.00 ALL night. No one could touch it.

Yeah I really didnt feel like speeding, I had a headache and at 120+ my exhaust is so friggin loud even dropping the speed down to like 105-110 makes a huge difference.

Ya I saw all those cops too!! Damn I was like "oooo look at that sneaky bastard hiding in the median" 5 seconds later... "oooooOOOOooo another sneaky bastard" 10 seconds later... "damn 2 more sneaky bastards"

Yeah sucks when you can't even speed at night, oh well I guess they were trying to bust people cause it was the long weekend.

 

yeah, well i went deerfoot north to glenmore west to crowchild north, it was around 945 but i was only on crowchild for about 1 mintue so i doubt u saw me. i turned off at 50th ave/ mtroyal college.
