Got your payment! I also got one from a guy on G5club.net. Glad to see them! That will bump the count up to 18. Just putting this into perspective though: we need 25 more people to break even. Come on guys. We need recruiting! I'm going to be making up a little template for invitation cards you can print off and stick under windshield wipers of (good looking, clean) cobalts (preferably sports and SS's, but LTs and LSs welcome too, I'm an LS. ) so we can spread the word a little better. I've got that written down and stickied to my screen to do tomorrow.

Hey Chad sorry that I am milkin' it. I have been swamped with work and when i'm off I barley spend any time on the computer. I have mine all filled out and am going to send it away soon. hopefully this weekend. I had a little situation with paypal wanting to withdraw $1600.00 from my account, so needless to say I closed my whole account after I got my money back.... 11 days latter. Anyhow money and info is coming soon. Thanks Chad.

Might have a issue with my car, hoping to get it fixed before the drive to edmonton and the meet. Long story short. I installed 1 step colder plugs awhile ago, on my way to work, one of them somehow came loose and it blew 2 plugs and the chamber apart. So i got the car towed to the dealership and they told me what happend after a day or two. I told them to put in NGK 1 Step Colder Plugs because thats what the car needs with the stage 2. So i got the car home that week and it was running like ****, kept mis-firing, the CEL would come on and then all of a sudden it died. Had to push the car home (thank god i was only down the road from my apartment) Checked the plugs, they were AC Delco Rapid Fire. So i brought the car to the dealership here in halifax, they fixed it...O-Ring on the valve cover melted and oil flowed into the spark plugs.

However ever since that day the car still acts up. I thought it was my tune so i thought nothing of it. Went to my local shop last night and did 2 hours of tuning...no change at all. Still ran like crap. Went back to the shop today and pulled the plugs and did a compression test. The far right plug/cylinder is fucked. My mechanic didnt go to far into it but he said bring the car to the dealership since they didnt finish the job. I have a appointment at the dealership on tuesday morning. Hoping it gets fixed cuz im flying to edmonton Wed afternoon.

So thats my story...sorry to put it on this topic but i just though some of you would care...lol. So if i get it sorted out, ill be there, if not well iiunno if the car will come to edmonton with me for the move.

Oh no!! That really sucks. I think another member on here has had the same issue. Try doing a search. Hopefully you can get that fixed up ASAP!!

On another note... here's those windshield squares I promised: http://www.chadohman.com/files/wccm0...te_Squares.pdf

SPREAD THEM AROUND!!

I'm coming out! On a side note, I will also be offering on site tuning from Trifecta... (I do the data logging, send to Vince and he sends me back the tune)... SO if anyone is interested, retail is $300 Canadian... I can offer group buy rate for 5 or more people at $225 CANADIAN or 4 people & less it would be $260 CANADIAN in cash.

I think the registration process is deterring some people a bit. Its in the nature of most people to not commit to something really so early.

agreed, however in a major drag facility they need to know in advance so they can produce the entertainment. so groups like us need to book way ahead. it is a pain in the ass, but it will be a great meet. on the bright side at least people will know what they are doing that weekend.

Yeah. It's important I keep Denny updated with numbers. It's hard, and with the economy the way it is, I totally understand, but this really is a deal. He's taking a $500 hit as it is for us!

I understand that fully, and I'm am all for the planning and prep for a great time, still doesn't change the fact that most of the Cobalt folks won't commit to something like that far in advance, even if it is only $25 some dollars that gets lost when many of them inevitably drop out in the weeks before the date.
