Who's gonna drag race this season???
Come on all you Alberta boys and girls.
Looking forward to seeing more at the track this year, since Cody is out.
Gotta thin out the "skittles" a bit...
Anybody get some times from last year???
edmonton?
Calgary?

I will be out with my car for a couple of weekends, back to back. One in Edmonton and the other in Calgary. I look forward to seeing the Alberta guys when I am there.

If all goes well... she should be putting out some big numbers by then. Stacked chips plus built tranny.
Just gotta stay working to fund the addiction.

Mind if I ask what kind of mods you've done?

AEM Dryflow filter,
Stage 2,
Gmpp catback
(2.8 pully on hand for trackdays)
oh, and a year of driving, and considering how **** my driving was at the track last year, it will help my launches lol.

Where are you located? If you're close to sea level, with a good launch, you could probably get 13's. If you're still on the stock tires and up in Calgary at Race City, I think the altitude will limit you to low 14's... That's just my guess though.
If you are in Calgary and do get 13's with those mods, then you'll have to teach me how to drive my Redline!
Either way, hope to see you out this year!

well my best run last year was the very day I got my stage 2, so the car was barely used to it, ....no catback...and some pretty inexperienced driving (especially with the new stage2), and it was a 14.5 @ 101
with that kinda trap, and knowing how bad my driving was at the time, i think i might just sneak into 13s this year

haha no, the only time i went to race city was when the car was about 3 weeks old. completely stock...and oh MAN did i not know how to launch yet lol.
It was a relative altitude of 5200 ft, and my best run was a 15.2 at 97 lol
it was a very humbling experience.

train your right foot.
seriously, get a feel for how much throttle you can get away with, ive learned alot in the last year, these cars are not easy to launch at all.
failing that, DRs or Slicks will always help
(im not keen on breaking axles though so thats not my bag)

so basically theres not much you can do for traction unless u wanna go with slicks? hm.. i think i have a pretty good luanch down. but when i get stage 2 + other things im not so sure that launch will work anymore
