Gone wingless
So tonight i decided to rip the wing off the car. Took me about an hour to get it off, going to take all day tomorrow to get the glue off. Going to bring the car to a shop to get the holes plugged and also do the front license plate as well. I'll take pics tomorrow of the car. Just wanted to let people know so if they see a blue, wingless balt driving around its me

used my gf's mothers hair dryer...lol. And i should have bought stronger fishing line....got 10lb and it kept snapping. I was being extra carefull so it took abit more time...plus the temp of the area i was working in was around -2*C so it didnt help either. Now i just need to get the glue off...heading out right now to get my windows tinted so while the guy is tinting ill get the glue off and take some pics and post.
Ok so i got my tint done, awesome job. The guys name is Vernin and his number is 221-4975. Did an awesome job and it only costs $150 for the back 3 windows. Took 2 hours and he did a good job. Anyways heres some before and after pics of the tint and wing

yes theres 4 big holes, still got abit of glue to come off...not alot, just little specs and theres minor scratches. What im planning on doing is taking the front plate mount off the front bumper as well and since my car is lowerd one night i hit the front left of my bumper, right at the corner where the wheel well is...im going to go to a body shop and get them to plug the 3 holes in the front, fix the scrape on the bumper and plug/fix the trunk....Probably would have been easlier to find a blue wingless hood but hey...its all about the time working on the car, dont like taking short cuts. Until i get to the shop, i put duct tape under the holes...should help keep the rain out

i like the looks of wingless!!! damn i should find a bone stock trunk lid!! lol and trade it
yeah, i give u props it looks good!! i like the tint too!! what percent is it?? i'd also put a piece of duct tape on the top of the holes too cause if u put it on the bottom the hole will fill with water then eventually break away at the adhesive and with the water filling up inside the holes will start to rust it out sooner!! so if u put some on the top it will keep it out of the trunk altogether i would imagine

I was thinking of taping under the holes but then i decided that it wouldnt be a good idea because the water would just sit in the holes if i it rained and maybe cause some rust. Just a thought, be careful

yea when i get up to the base im going to put some gun tape on top of the trunk... its abit stronger then duct tape so that should do the work. Chances are i wont be able to get to a shop until somtime after Feb 27th when i get 9 days off. And the answer your other question its 5% tint

I actually just did this, this weekend too. Someone wanted to buy my spoiler really bad, so I had to get it off asap lol. But it was really easy, and looks so much cleaner IMO

go with 25% lol, thats what I have on mine im pretty sure lol. It's actually lighter then you think. Your lucky though, i wish the laws were like that here cause I'm gonna have to take it off for MVI in april then get it put back on again. My mechanic said he would only allow it for one year haha

It looks very nice!!!
Good idea on getting the front plate off .. I did that as well .. but haven't gotten the holes filled in yet, costs so much for tiny little holes!!! So now I just have black plastic things that they stuck in there ... looks hideous - but better then the stupid front plate.
