Halifax - Help tinting my taillights

Hey I want to tint my taillights and was looking for some help? I took the below steps from someone else as they look wicket

alot of wet sanding

sanded the tails to get inperfections and to level the plastic 800(looks like its messed up, but its not)
cleaned the lens well
sprayed a light coat
30min
sprayed a heavy coat
30min
sprayed a heavy coat
baked in warm oven
wet sanded the top coat with 1000 to smooth it out
cleaned well
sprayed clear
30min
sprayed clear
baked
wet sanded with 2000 to make it ultra smooth
cleaned well
sprayed clear
30min
sprayed clear medium
baked
reinstalled and waited a week, wash like normal, then apply wax. Looks like stock from the factory

ur pretty much bang on. i only wait 10 - 15 mins between color coats. first color coat is really light same with the 2nd (just to tack the lights up a bit) then the 3rd spray til the color you want is reached... (unless u want black black then keep the light coats going dont want to have runs from doing a thick coat). after teh last color coat i wait 30 mins. then do the same with the clear 2 light coats 10-15 apart then heavier 3rd and let it sit a few hours and reinstall. then wait 48 hours for the clear to harden then i hit it with 1500grit wetsand and then a 2000 wetsand then rubbing compound then finish it all up with nufinish scratch remover. NEVER WAX A CLEAR RIGHT OFF THE BAT! it gives a way better chance it will bubble down the road so says a friend of mine at a body shop so im inclined to believe him...

If all that seems to much for ya i am more than willing to do them for a price :P lol

oh also i sand off the bat with 600 grit instead of 800 not sure it matters a whole lot tho.
