Hey man make sure when you looking around for a set of head lights if you want a super clean look, try to get LS ones. the LS head lights have a clear Lens, the SS Head lights have a bronze in them so it makes them look dirty when you black them out.
the last 2 i did were SS head lights the 3rd set are LS and they look way better

 

haven't attempted to bake mine yet

 

the amber in the corner? that was the first few years with a clear bulb. then they switched over to clear outside corners with amber bulbs. its the years not the trim levels. you must have worked on older SS's and a newer LS.

 

not the corners the hole lens was tinted one was a 2007 ss sc, the other was a 2008 ss tc, and the ones i have now are from a 2008 ls
