Okay everyone i have been talking to you all about this for some time now, so lets get this on the go!
we need a HUGE turn out for a meet and cruise.
Some of you have and some of you have not been to Blomidon look off down in the Cannon, its a wicked place to look out over the valley and into the bay of fundy.

Date I had planed for this is: July 27, 2008 (2 weeks so you can book it off from work)
Rain Date: - August 3, 2008
Meeting Time: 1:00 PM ( what does everyone think?)
Meet Place: Bedford Arbys right off the 102 highway

Cars Welcomed on this cruise: Cobalt, Cobalt LS, Cobalt LT, Cobalt SS, Cobalt SS S/C, Cobalt SS T/C, G5, Persuit, Ion Redline's

Route:
Leave Bedford Arbys at 2:00 PM and head up the 101 highway to Mount Uniack Exit, take the old number 1 through uniack and then back on the highway maybe at st croix?
while we travel along the 101, take exit 10 to grand pre or is it wolfville... one or the other and go down through the back roads.
Cobalt owners in digby, Bridgewater, and the valley area meet up at Irving off exit 11 (cannon exit somone from the valley could fix that for me.) then when we leave irving we will go along the road down tot he look off then we all park on angle at the top of the look off for photos.
after that we could head into new minus to grab something to eat somewhere, we can think of the place at the look off.
after we eat we all travel back to halifax and go to PPP and then Robie/Young Burger king to finish our night off.
Digby and Bridgewater, and Valley owners more then welcome to come back to halifax with us.

Would like to see a big turn out, hopefully more then 10 cars.
if we leave bedford at 2:00 we should be at the Irving for 2:45-3:00 we call all leave there for 3:30?

please note get gas on your way there so we are not stuck getting gas while we are on the travels

Hopefully we can get people from NB down for this. come down saturday night, we all can meet up chill and what not then sunday all go on the drive.

not to be a smart ass pykie, but I'm guessing you meant to type July 27th?? if that's the case, I'll have to try and book off for the day! I"d love to come along for the ride! as for this weekend, I'm screwed! I had to put the Ugly fackin doughnut on my car tonight! I somehow managed to pick up the biggest screw/bolt that could possibly puncture a tire! *sigh* the spare looks like cancer on the car!

oh well, guess I"m glad I bought the GMPP wheel&tire warrenty! covers road hazards like giant screws!

I cruised through all the towns on old route #1 on the weekend on the way down near Annapolis to camp out on a lot I own on the north mountain (no, not the south mountain LOL). Tried to find some 'balts on the way through to invite to our meets. Saw three SS/SC and one SS/TC in various parks of Winsor, but none of them would stop long enough for me to make an invite.

If you guys are serious about this weekend trip, I will be continuing on after "food" in New Minas to camp out. Depending on the number that want to stay for the weekend (and don't mind dirt roads), there may be room for a few to pitch a tent and stay as well...

Did you get rid of your GMPP exhaust Chad? what did you end up going with Magnaflow, Corsa, etc...

 

nah I kept it for now, not sure if I will be changing it out this year or not. Depends what happens, if I buy a house there wont be many mods going into the car for a little bit until I get my next raise in November,.

Well sorry everyone, just got the word my great aunt doesnt have much time to live, plus my great aunt from BC and Montreal are down for the summer so we are taking a weekend trip up to spend time with them all as they are getting up there in age and dunno if they will be down next year.
if everyone wants to make a date for in august that would be good, then we have more time to plan and figure out a good route to go.
see what happens anyways
