Hey my mother msged me on facebook saying Metallica is playing on the hill in halifax on July 14th. Checked out a website and found the artical but its not being published on their tour dates. Can anyone confirm this?

I got no issues with booking a flight home to see them since ill be on summer leave, but florence already used her vacation time...lol.

 

theyre doing something with the big 4, i believe stateside or canada, she may be correct

 

i've actually heard this from a few of my friends too.. If it is true, i'll deffanately be there.

 

Man this does suck though, our plan was to visit home next summer but my gf already used her vacation time so we gotta work something out...and she would kill me if i went to halifax without her again..lol

 

They were saying july 14 with megadeth, and slayer but both of them have tonnes of other tour dates around the 14 people in our building work for HRM event planning and said they knew nothing of a concert on the hill but confirmed that the hill was booked out for like a week around the date. Will be interesting to see what happens, considdering all the money they lost on outdoor concerts the last few years. I'm really wishing this to be tru tho HUGE Metallica fan.. Lol

yea i heard it was on the hill and a whole week was booked around the concert date. We basically got the money to fly home, just waiting to see if florences district manager will let her swap her next summers vacation time off to this summer. She thinks im crazy that i would camp out on the hill 2 days prior just so i can get good spots...lol. She doesnt understand that this is one of the best bands of all time.
