man o man! i am finidng out over the past 3 days on how hard it is to keep the temp where it should be!
Ball Pythons want there bassing area to be 90 degrees and their cooler side to be at 75-80 but no lower then 73 degrees i found out that glass terarriums are hard to keep the head in, and to make matters worse the hole top is mesh screen so all in all heat rises right up and out of the tank
i started out with a 50 watt infered light bumped it up to 75 watt turned the heat up in my room to where i felt nice and warm got it to stay at 91 all day yesterday, today i woke up i was peeking 95 degrees so i shut the light off for 30 mins when i went back the tank was at 75 and 60 i was freakin lol now i got it back up to a decent temp.
had to wash out a water spray bottle today too so i can "create" humidity in the tank for him as well.
