i just wanted to get an idea of where most of the NS member are at, like the city, valley, ect, to maybe get a meet happening soon? since i bought my 07 SS/SC ive been wanting to meet with some more cobalt owners

so what does everyone think?

 

congrats on the new ride. i'll be down once the snow melts and it comes out of storage. i want to head to the strip this summer and see what kind of times i can post as well.

most people around here have their cars away, some drive them yrly.

i agree with ya, but speedsport is to early in the year, i kinda hope speedsport is a complete fail and greg opens his eyes!
move in date for speedsport is wed, show starts thurs, and show ends sat

why not make Fun Run a meet then?

I enjoyed the fun run this year, first time I went! Def go again.

 

Theres a ton of ss owners here in nova scotia but everyone has died off the site. Hope you have good luck getting a meet started.

 

yea i know, i was there last year camping lol
we went to the beach, one of the guys stole the life guard chair, cops showed 15 ppl piled into the inside and box od a reg cab short box dodge with 35's on it lol the box was rubbing on the tires .
then at 3am a truck load of french people came back yelling in french lol

 

Never went to that but I'm in Shediac almost every summer.

 

I was there a few years ago and didn't realize how sunny and hot it was that day. Forgot to bring sunscreen, oh boy i was as red as a lobster for a good week

 

agree with the meet, havent meet any of you personally but have seen you around hali and thrown a wave. cars in storage for probs another 2 months, but days like today give me false hope. speedsport is to early again this year and moved to the middle of the week so i wouldnt imagine a big turn out like previous years, theres always the drags in pei, and every sunday i usually go for a rip to peggys cove. theres always someone out and about

 

you know if you guys dont mind hanging with import owners as well, then Sackville Superstore down by the Gas bar end normally has Lowmotion, JDMStyle, 902uners, Black Top Racing, BRNYRD Racing, Crannys Customs and many more race clubs/car clubs chilling, last summer was kinda slow, the summer before average night had 30+ cars, and i mean everything from OEM Slammed civics, to Widebody Hellaflush S2000, to Procharged 350Z, 600awhp Skyline, and many many more.

besure to bring your lawn chairs lol.

also if you get into the group who hang there we all do alot of the bigger car shows together and normally have 40+ cars on the cruise. like Fun Run, SpeedSport, South Shore in Motion, Camix Fall Show, A&W cruizin the dub, graves island, PEI Drag races, Marmichi Drag races, and so on, and i tell ya, the camping stories are a riot!

 

A cruise would be a lot of fun once the spring gets here. But like Jarren said, a lot of people have stopped coming around. This may be a good chance to get people back together. Look what I found:
