Canada Spotted: Yellow SS S/C caught by cops

Seen him on Dartmouth Highway by MicMac. looks like he has yellow stickers on the side windows.

If you see this, let me know how bad it is. looks like you were going fast

Radar detectors were actually legal in NS & NB when I started driving almost 20 years ago. And speeding tickets then were only $87.50 regardless of what the speed was.

Is that unit undetectable?

Yea no issues with mine. and they saved me tons of times however, Halifax now uses a new KA Band (34.XXX) you dont get as good as a range as you did with K band but still does the job.

You can get them at Halifax Car Audio.

i want a Blinder M27 but i dont know what the cops will do when they see jam on the laser guns lol

Come on, thats the smart way of doing things. Common Sense, do people have that?

Ps. I think we found the guy driving the yellow SS, DEEZIE, posted in "The Lounge" .... https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/lounge-42/got-ticket-last-night-207923/

I don't want to start an argument here, but Im sure we're all guilty of that at some point or another. Go easy on him. And as for bitching he should have his car crushed... well its easier said when you're on the other end of the conversation and not his. But I hope he learned his lesson... even though he was warned a few dozen times. Im sure next time the consequences will be more severe, he got off lucky!

i dont mind speeding and such, but dont do it when tons of people are out. he went by me like a bad outta hell but i was slowing down due to the detector going nutz. he got off easy, street racing here can be 10k in fines and jail time.

I'm not going to lie, cuz i have street raced once and that was the first day i got my 370z. However, that was on a long straight road and it was on the back roads, not on a street with traffic and turns all over the place. If where this was done is the road im thinking of, then there would be traffic no matter what time a day it was...unless it was like 3am and theres always cops there.

But getting 26 warnings and racing on a public road is ******* stupid and reckless. Now was the race i did any better? no, of course not. Was it worth it? no it wasnt, but at least i did it in a somewhat safe area.

Yea if its the highway with 3-4 lanes each side right by MicMac, no matter what its always full of cars, not to mention everytime i drive by theres always a cop to be found somewhere there. I've driven there at the wee hours of the morning before, and theres still a bunch of traffic.

all I can say is he is lucky he wasn't in ontario with the street racing because they take your car after four times of the same **** and high fines and u will never get your licence back for a really long time...and he is still behind the wheel even with no licence right now for a week?.....jesus boy grow the **** up,maybe the cops will pull u over again and throw u in with the "big boys" for a night or two and then crush you car

Although i do agree. People should never street race. You really should lighten up a bit. I recall a video of you not to long ago. In your 370Z. IN THE CITY with your video camera giving your car old hell. It doesn't matter that you were not racing someone else or not. The piont is you were still speeding and coming onto your car. Something VERY bad could have just as easily happend when you were coming onto your car for the sake of the video. So lightin up. I don't support racing in ANYWAY. But i am also quilty of it from time to time as im sure many of us are. Including you !! Take this as you would like snake, its just my 2 cents !

I wouldn't agree with it either but dezzie has had SOOO many damn Chances and Warnings from the police about the same ****...OVER and OVER again and he still does it,My mom told me once when it comes to people like this we shouldn't care and then when he does it again thinking nothing bad will happen and he least excepts it he will hit another car, kill the person inside that car and have to live with it for the rest for his life...He has the chance right now to change that but it seems that he doesn't care,oh well
next time u might not be so lucky there buddy boy

If its the same video im thinking of. Yes i was in the wrong to accelerate like that, however, I was either at or just a few kmh (less then 10kmh) over the speed limit.

who cares? like seriously just drop it. every one speeds, every one makes mistakes, and everyone learns from their mistakes no matter how long it may take!

Although what you are saying makes perfect sense. There are all kinds of possibilities that would have caused him to be pulled over and not the wrx. Like perhaps the wrx let off and the cobalt kept on the gas and then got caught ?? You never know. I was kinda hopin the op would jump in and fill in the rest of the story ! Also, is that wrx silver ?
