I got a ticket a little while back for failing to drive or operate a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manor.

There is no $ amount on the ticket which means i have to appear in court on March 2. Has anyone gotten this ticket before, or know of a way to get out of it affecting me.

I also have a couple tickets for driving past curfew and failing to have licensed driver with me, because i have a learners permit. (never used a driver license before i moved to Nova Scotia =P.) So if you know of how i can get out of these ticket let me know haha.

 

what were you doing to get the ticket? ive never heard of this kinda of ticket, but it could be a canadian thing

 

Avoiding an undercover police officer so he wouldnt pull me over =)

 

So why were you afraid of being pulled over? Obviously you did SOMETHING wrong if you thought you were going to get pulled over, and you probably dug yourself a bigger hole by "avoiding" the officer.

 

If that is the same thing as reckess driving, it is 6 points here in WV. I dont know how much fine. How do you avoid an officer? DId you run? that dont make sense, avoiding an undercover officer.

 

OP sounds like you were being dumb and therefore they are going to make an example out of you. If you leave the courtroom with your license(learners permit), you will be lucky.

Your lucky your not in England if I remeber right they crush your car. Anybody who knows anything about England please chime in. hehe.

They crush sexy cars over there daily, stupid brits..

Its all good.. Im going to get my full license before my court date anyways.. If they wanted to take my license they would have done so.....

 

Undercover officer followed me... I switched lanes and he followed still..... I sped up a bit (not speeding) and made some turns without slowing down much... and made last minute lane changes (all legal lane changes).

They told me they were honking at me to pull over... LIES. They canèt pull you over with a horn anyways...

They told me i was trying to run from them.. I told them i was scared and I thought some freak was trying to stock me... So they dropped criminal evading tickets and gave me this instead..
