Just thought i would give an update on whats going on with me in Edmonton. Dont have the internet yet in my apartment so im at same gaming place...lol. I'll have internet up on monday.
So last night i went to the drag strip for the first time. Still having a issue at 3000 - 4000rpm. Its the tune but it feels like the clutch is slipping. I know its the tune cuz when james changed it around abit for the meth it didnt mess up as bad. Anyways i did about 10 runs on the track last night. My first run was 15.7 ET, .345 RT and 2.8XX 60' @ 100mph best run was 14.4 ET, .128 RT, 2.3XX 60' @ 103mph Was getting good practice on my launches but with the issue at 3000-4000 in first gear it kills me, Either i have to push through the jolt and possibly break something or shift into second which makes me go to 2300rpm.
Although i had that issue im still happy with my time since its my first time. I Spun my tires 2 times and had wheel hop a few times also. Still alot of fun and there was like 9 Cobalts there to. There best times was 13.6 and 13.8 i believe. One was Stg 2 Supercharged and the other was a tuned SS/TC. All of my races (not that it matters cuz i was just going for time) but i won against everything i raced except for a done up truck that had slicks and i think N02, RX-8 (would have had him but my tires spun all the way down the track) And i think thats it...on monday ill post the videos of a few races i got.
So right now im paying off my TVS and ordering a solid engine mount to stop the wheel hop. Once i get the tvs im getting a good tune so it should be alot better.
Other then that, so far im loving it up here...miss a few things about halifax but meh..its all good here. Anyways im out!

yea...having a tvs with a stock exhaust is going to be a bad idea so i decided to go with aftermarket and i was told that 3" will be better then 2.5" and since there is basically no exhaust/sound laws here in edmonton i dont care. Still would love to hear the whine but meh...gotta loose something to gain something. Looking at how-to's on how to install that stuff....exhaust looks easy as hell but header might be an issue. So with the following....
TVS, 60lb injectors, 2 step colder plugs, h/e, meth(changing from 3gph nozzle to 5gph), CAI, header, 3" downpipe with highflow cat, 3" exhaust, TD, upper engine mount and a good tune with as much weight reduction as possible im hoping low 13's

well considering im hitting 243whp with a base tune and the guy that is tuning me came highly recommended plus the TVS, header, 3" dp, 3" exhaust and motor/tranny mounts plus im changing my meth nozzle from 3gph to 5gph and changing the mix from 50/50 to 75 meth/25 water...i should have no problem getting to 300whp and im going to aim for higher numbers for the track so i wont get pissed off so i hope mid 13's
