Not a huge update or nothing but here you go.

Yesterday i took the day off from working on it, had the gf over and was getting her and my self readyf or halloween.
today i started to remove the harness completely from the car after reading this morning a reply from damien on how to remove the fuse box.
so i did that and heres some pics.

Tomorrow if the day is nice i am going to remove the fenders and do some painting in the wheel wells might try to remove the fuel rail but we will see.

Does anyone know if there is a after market fuel rail out there that will take a -nan fitting? i would like to make full stainles steel braided lines from gas tank forward into a nice fuel rail, i dont think its possible with this one.

now that you got that torn apart...it looks more and more like a 2.0L SS/SC engine bay.

Little update.
Well today i pulled my motor.
i have no pics as of right now, got everything off and what do you know..
my clutch is fucked, my presure plate is fucked and my flywheel is fucked!
spent $1,000 of a clutch that didnt hold. slipped 3rd all the time then got real bad and slipped 1st and 2nd.
contacted clutch masters and they want pics of it.
tomorrow i plant to put the interior back in the car too, im not working so i figure i wont be gettin the roll cage right now, more worried about the motor and trany and clutch...
Also came across something that really disapointed me!
y turbo manifold is cracked.. that didnt last long now did it?
anyone know if theres any other companys other then ZZP and Volcan who makes turbo manifolds?

Pics Tomorrow.

Pretty sure that mcneil welded that, but even then thats a mig welder, was was used to weld mine was a tig, i think tig welding is stronger.
where it cracked at was where the turbo plate was welded in.... i guess little stress cracks.

Well some bad news!
my parents broke up so ***** been fallin apart in my house hold, my gf just bought me a ball python for x mas and my brothers gf told my parents and now im kicked out, i spent all day in the snow storm or of what we had today putting the interior back in it and ****, tomorrow im callin around and getting a tranny, im gonna see if clutch masters can get my disc sent to me asap so i can put the motor and everything back in. looks like rods and pistons will not happen this year and im not happy about that.
i had lots of plans for it.
i guess now that its not happening i will share with you all what was happening.
i found my self a smashed 05 ss s/c i was taking the body kit off it, the 5 lug conversion, the supercharger and other ods and ends from it too.
i was gonna twin charge my car run LS2 edit for tunning and paint the car an orange. would of looked something like this pic attached
if i get a place to live thats Dog, Cat, and snake friendly and i get a decent job this winter i will have this car done. but time will tell as of right now.

it was rolled, the car is completely fixed minus the new roof needed to be tacked in place.

thanks. and yes your right it sucks!

Time for an update.
Well after some talking to the old man he changed his mind about kicking me out.
i also just got myself a new job for the time being.
i just picked up my new transmition today its litterly brand new, the car it cam out of had 5,330kms on it and it was a 07 as well.
i also just bought and received my new short shifter kit from TWM Performance, its a short shifter with aliminum bushings, and came with an ITR shift knob
also today i purchased my new Stance Coilvers, these are a full coilover! hoping to get the car sitting on the ground!
yesterday Sunday dec 13th i sold my old bodykit to a feller with a G5, witch benifted me too because he needs a trunk lid witch im selling him mine, and he needs tail lights, so im getting rid of the LED tails i have and putting my stock ones back in.
i Should be getting my new body kit either today or tomorrow as well.
and last! i ust ordered a tuning softwear for my car.
this is from the same guy who tuned it last time from californa, he just produced a tuning softwear thats alot like HP Tuners and im hoping to get the car off to JD Racing for the tuning to be done
FINNALY Tomorrow im gonna start the strip down on the head of my motor, gotta contact GM to see how to remove the head with out messing up the head.
and then the motor will be gone down to Armstrongs to get rebuilt!

hey now, lol personally the BC2 kit was by far the best kit you could buy for the cobalt. plus i got a killer deal on it, only paid $500 for the kit when ibought it new.
i just moved the car from my drive way to metro self storage again for another year of great fun lol, but they got smart! put cages over all their lights so you cant steal power lol
