So how does that work Jerren? Ryan tuned me a few years ago (QuicksilverSS) but come to find out he sold hptuners to someone in Fredericton. So would I still have to pay for hp credits? I would definitely be up for the drive down for a tune in the near future. PM me with some info plz. My knowledge was that once HPtuners has your VIN number, you can get retuned as many times as you'd like, right?? Couldn't you just copy the tune I have on my PCM right now, and then tweak it to have a smaller pulley ?

Yah man, moving out on your own for the first time is very expensive. Especially rent and what not. Good luck!

I believe your right that once hp tuners has you unlocked vin, you shouldn't have to use credits, however I'm not sure if it's program specific or not. I'll have to dig into that over the winter. Also I wouldn't be tweaking the tune myself. What you could do is find someone who has hpt and knows how to tune the lsj the I would do some logs, pull your tune off and email it to that person.they would then tweak it as they see fit then send it back to me and I'd put it back onto your car, along with a few data logs then rinse and repeat

Well I just finished getting all my bolt ons and Trifecta Tune. Now I'm gunna focus on looks and suspension mods. So I'll be getting a strut bar and rear sway bar then look into lowering springs. For visual stuff just finish off stuff inside the engine bay like coil pack cover etc.

God Jerren I hope there's an easier way than that. Seems like alot of running around for a retune and some datalogging. Like you said, read up on it and let me know. In the meantime, I'm trying to get ahold of Ryan to see if I can contact the new owner of his hptuners account

Maybe he just wanted to know what his local canadians are doing and the rest of us are idiots like me and didn't check what section this was in because they only use the "new posts" button.

Or simply wrong section.
