i would still prefer to pull up in something that could remotely put up a fight for your supercharged engines. maybe mid-late summer.

i am sure i will be out at mission at some point or another this year.

Cobalt Harv in the house

Howdy all. I'm on VanIsle. I'm in for a meet. I could probably bring one other SS/SC owner.

May I suggest a meeting at Long Beach (Tofino/Ucluelet), once it dries up a bit that drive is wicked awesome (especially in the morning when it's deserted) at about the end of June?)

Cheers,

Okay Harv do your drink at the Frontiersman?
I saw a Blue SS there last summer when I was over visiting my Mom.
I believe it was a Campbell River dealer sticker on the back.

That would've been me. I recognized the fish on the back. And then I head the exaust and knew it had to be you. I would've tried to keep up but I was on my way to the Home Depot with the old lady and she doesn't like the speed as much as I do.

I'd love to go over to the island for a cruise. Its nice to get out of the traffic, I was over two weeks ago and it was nice and sunny. The ferry is pretty expensive though. Plus I wouldn't want my baby going down with the ship

Yes I noticed her in the passanger seat but she did seem amused at seeing another SS. I too have a wife that grabs the oh **** handle when I throw some foot to the pedal. I told her that we may have to think of someway for her to be prepared for the extra kick once stage 2 is in (I suggested Depends so I don't have to clean the seat) but all in all the wife is great with my toy.

this could work for me as long as those on this side of the water still want to get together over here too. I realize that not everyone can afford to go to the island.

She just closes her eyes when I get going. She'll have to get used to it though. We're planning another drive up north this summer and I figure I can shave a couple hours off my PB of 21.5hrs.

Have you been able to get an order in for stage 2 yet?

Yesterday morning at 8:45am. I phoned the parts guy in North Van at 8:15am and told him the parts were out. He had just got in and had not even turned his computer on yet. He was really surprised that I already knew. He did have to do a manual order (phoned in) and he phoned me back and said it was ordered and confirmed with that one phone call.

sup y'all? I'm a new member here, referred by PenguinPIE. I don't drive a Cobalt though, but instead drive an Acura Legend (RL) coupe. I'm a car though.
