Is there any shops out here locally that have a dyno? I think it would be cool to get a small group of us together to do a dyno meet, each see where they are at with their cars.

I always wanted a baseline dyno for my car before i did any mods to see how far its come once its modded. Im sure others are curious to how theirs would do also

 

There are several dyno shops but I'm not sure if any are open on weekends. Racing Greed on Lougheed Hwy is where I was going to try first. I think it's about $100 for 3 pulls or something like that
I'm in if we can arrange a dyno day.

 

id be in possibly. i have a stock sc. i know my dad has been wanting to dyno his rx7 and im sure my other buddy would be in with his 09 civic si

 

racing greed only does shop dynoing now..they didn't make enough selling time to public..so only unless you know someone there and stuff can you get dyno time in ... i have a friend setting up a dyno day there after he puts his turbo in for him to tune and before he tunes everyone else is gonna dyno and give him some money sinc ehes booking the whole day fo rhimself..other than that you won't be able to go racing greed..let me know if u guys want in..the dyno day will probably be late march/ april

If any one is interested i was going to set up a dyne & tuning meet with the tuner of Clear Image Auto, he has a dyno shop he uses just across the border in Lynden and is willing to set up a meet for us.. So we can get a custom tune (he can do the 2.2) and a dyno. Was thinking about doing it in April when the weather is a little better.

 

I'm up for a dyno run too if the price is right.

Clear Image Auto has a dyno right next to them, there is also Drift Office in Auburn who offers group pricing for dyno... They charge $55/3 pulls normally! (I did 5 for $75 last time).... If you want to wait until late April when I get my super charger installed, we could do this at Drift Office in Auburn, WA and get a group of us INCLUDING the Pacific North Westener's of US.... there would be at least 5-10 of them interested in a dyno day then we can all get uber cheap pricing!

 

do we need a passport to get across? never been across the boarder. Also how long would it take to get there?

Just need your Driver's license and Birth certificate

Other ID may do but that combination is the best without a passport.

Also have to tell them a destination ... and never ask them to say please or you might get something in the eye

i was up for the hell of it lol...and watchmen SUKED i HATED IT freaken 15 min of fighting total the rest was talking and boring..i watched the screener at ubc before the movie came out

 

watchmen had too many blue penises for my liking

 

o god don't even remind me lol..we were laughing about that the whole way out of the movie lol .we were like wtf they put a man thong on him for like 20 min of the movie and the rest its just dangling there lol

 

I can get time at RG. Mark at RG tuned my gtr. i also deal with Geo in an off and on manner

If thats the case, 2.2L's you've been officially uninvited to joining this dyno meet because 1) Only Vince can tune the 2.2's and 2.... well... too bad?

So if anyone wants a better day of tuning, if you wait until end of April, we should be able to get a good deal on dyno tuning south of the border.

 

lol not everyone is going for tuning, others are going to just see what their car dynos. Trifecta tunes are $250, i dont have even half that much to throw out for a tune so im just going for the dyno unless he gives us an incredible deal on tuning.

also nobody anwsered me yet, how far is is to drive to Vinces shop to get a dyno tune from him?
