if you ordered it and had it shipped duties apply. I don't think customs has an obd2 reader so we are just on a cruise.

Looks like I'm out now too. I have a course starting that day. But I won't know if I'm accepted into it about 3 days before it starts.

I'll leave you in for now, just let us know when it happens.

AS for the address here it is from Vince:

Let’s meet at the dyno at 10AM, on 5/2. I just confirmed with Tim at Meridian Performance Services.
The address is:
Meridian Performance Services

We'll set up a place to meet before we go over the border and all go together. If anyone has a suggestion where to meet????

Well the easiest way to go is 264 in Langley (HWY 13) and take that border crossing cause it's literaly down the street from the crossing. plus it will most likely have the least time to wait in a line up at the border. So could meet up in Aldergrove somewhere if people know how to get there.

I'm going to come over friday and stay at the best western on 264th. Is there a good place to meet around there, it should be simple to get there head south on 264 turns into Guide merridian when you cross the border! (according to the map never actually been there though!)

There's a Boston pizza near 264th and Fraser Highway that would probably be a good spot.

nah, we have done it before...oddly enough only the red cars with us got pulled over
they do aske questions, so make sure you ALL have your story straight before you cross and that you dont admit to spending the money
as in, " we are going to a car club meet at such and such (not a dyno shop) to meet up with some friends, we will be back this afternoon"

Don't feel too bad
I worked 5 years for this company who last week cut my salary to where I can't pay the bills no more. Had to take a job in construction that sucks but pays. There's so many unemployed people willing to work for little money right now so why pay me 5$/Hour more when he can find a cheap replacement.

Now on a more positive note. Got my aeroforce interceptor last week and went for a test run. 242 Net Hp at 6350 Rpm's
I'm curious about how much WHP my car is making but I don't have the money to dyno until I find a good job

i would guess it doesnt matter, as long as you pay cash, and convert it before or after

I wouldn't worry about paying Duties on Tunes and Dyno's since your not bring anything back over the border that's material. Even if you say you just bought gas, they don't ask you to pay duties (least never have with me).

If the place takes Debit or Credit the bank should automatically convert the cost.

Yes but vince doesnt work for that dyno shop, hes just traveling there to tune, so im guessing he wants cash. And yes if we tell them we are getting dyno'ed i dont beleive they can charge you duties for that since its not an item we are purchasing, its a service we are paying for

lol ya that'd be like us having to keep receipts for the meals we'd eat over the border then have to pay duty on it.
