Is anyone interested in one last cruise/meetup before we get into the BC rain season and won't have nice weather for the next 7 monthes? There hasn't been any activity on this forum forever, so I'm pretty sure no one is interested but I'm going to throw it out there and see what response I get. I was thinking some sort of cruise from abby to vancouver or richmond or the other way round. Hopefully we can get the most people this way, going near everyones town. Then have a meetup and find something to do hopefully.

I'll set a tentative date of October 9th but would love any suggestions on the whole thing. Lets get together one last time before the end of the year =)

I've painted mine, and yeah I was scared to bake them too, luckily I had an extra set. But it really wasn't that hard to do, just keep the temp low (like 200f) for 20 minutes and then they should pull apart pretty easily. Make sure you keep your paint light per coat though, because you could end up with runs easily (like I did).

If your heading to Vancouver anyway then that might be the best day tohave a meet. Hopefully some others join in too.

Hey, guys...new to this site, mostly hang out on YourCobalt. Not much activity on that site for Vancouver Cobalt's. Wouldn't mind meeting up with you guys in Richmond if you don't mind chilling with an LS!

Well we were thinking October 9th (Sunday) Maybe we could do mini meet-up/cruise starting in Abbotsford or Langley and end up in Vancouver somewhere. Then if you want to cruise you can but otherwise you could just meet us at the final destination for a real meet-up. Suggestions on any of this would be appreciated though, we want to accommodate as many people as possible

Looking forward to meeting all you new members

That would be fine. I'm in Surrey so anywhere in the lower mainland is about the same distance away. I was just thinking the Abby-Van cruise to try and get some people from out there to come who might not make the long trek otherwise

09-cobalt-lt, Any suggestions where we could meet, cruise to in Vancouver?

My bad penguin lol, well we could do either October 9th or 10th, wouldn't matter to me. Again I'm trying to go for mass appeal here because we both know how hard it is to make these work. You wouldn't need to cruise from Abbotsford if you didn't want. It was just to bring some people in to Vancouver from that way, it's not really a cruise, more just driving together to the meet-up. We could do a real cruise once we get into Vancouver with the whole group.

I don't really know Vancouver to well though so I need some planning any meet or cruise in that area. Cruises wouldn't really work in busy streets, too easy too get all separated. If you guys had a good place in mind though, I'd be glad to hear it.

fair enough, I was just thinking the same thing as PenguinPIE. I'm in North Van so it's a pretty lonng drive. If any Abbottsford people are interested we could always just meet up once you guys get into Vancouver and cruise for a bit. I don't know too many places but maybe like over to Spanish Banks or Horseshoe Bay?

*****, sat wont work for me now...have work all day, sun would be good...meet up in Richmond somewhere after 6. Couple of good places in Richmond are at Silver City at Steveston Hwy (RevScene has there meets there) or Landsdown Mall.

Was thinking that you guys can start of the cruise in Abbotsford and make your way down towards Surrey then Vancouver. As you guys go people can join in and meet somewhere in Vancouver. Then was thinking from Vancouver make your way down towards Richmond, meet up/cruise and people can probably head home after. Don't really know how meet up works, let me know what you guys think!
